The owner, Silvio, is such a kind and generous host, and he has created a uniquely beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi, set in an incredibly lovely garden, and the stone house was just as charming. Silvio has done a beautiful job decorating, and does so many nice touches that add to the warmth and beauty of the property. This is a great place to stay, and we would love to come back!”

“Wir haben im Haus Europa für 4 Nächte übernachtet. Die Unterkunft ist wunderbar für Ausflüge in den Nationalpark gelegen und man hat einen wunderschönen Ausblick über den Nationalpark. Das Haus war sehr sauber und es war alles dort, was man benötigt. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Beim nächsten Besuch des Nationalpark Peneda-Gerês, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder diese Unterkunft buchen.”

“Séjour agréable hormis un manque de contact physique, pas de réception et personne à qui s'adresser physiquement. Tout à dû se passer par Whatsapp ! Il était spécifié sur le site un parking alors qu'il n'y en avait pas. Nous avons dû nous garer en pleine rue !!! ”

“Buon rapporto qualità prezzo ed ubicazione vicina al centro con facilità di trovare parcheggio. Unica nota negativa è che la stanza che ci è stata assegnata la num 1 si trova sopra un esercizio pubblico che emetteva vapori ed odori dalla cucina. Lo sfogo era proprio vicino alla finestra. Inoltre vi era vociare fino a notte fonda che ha disturbato il sonno. ”

“An amazing place to stay - an ancestral family home with beautiful grounds and a great outdoor pool. Made very welcome by the owner. Don't expect the trappings of a modern hotel though ( e.g. Air conditioning or modern tech). Some might find it old fashioned but if you like historic houses then you won't find better.”

“Férias em família para descanso, local muito sossegado, em ambiente rural. Apenas alguns reparos: - falta de máquina de lavar louça; - poucos utensílios na cozinha; - falta de ar condicionado;”

“Lovely outdoor space and facilities. Location a bit of a challenge for our age group (70s) but we managed quite well. Maria was very helpful and the neighbours also helped make the visit special.”
