Rimarrete incantati da questo appartamento con 1 camera da letto arredato con gusto (situato al piano terra della residenza, c'è un appartamento per piano). Abbiamo impiegato molto tempo a restaurare questa residenza del 18 ° secolo, combinando stili vecchi e nuovi per (quello che crediamo sia) un risultato di buon gusto. Abbiamo prestato particolare attenzione al comfort dei nostri ospiti nella scelta di elementi essenziali come letti e mobili.

Situato in una zona tranquilla della strada principale pedonale (rue Nationale). A breve distanza a piedi da tutto ciò che rende Amboise una città di villeggiatura eccellente.
- Siti storici: chiesa di Saint Denis del XIII secolo, castello reale di Amboise, dimora di François 1er e di altri re di Francia, Clos Lucé, ultima residenza di Leonardo da Vinci e strade del centro storico.

- Ristoranti gourmet, eccellente mercato settimanale all'aperto sulle rive della Loira, con specialità locali: formaggi, vini, salumi e prodotti locali.

- Panetteria, edicola, supermercato (aperto 7: 00-10: 00) Mont-Sat, salumerie, boutique.

Durante i mesi estivi, la città è un alveare di attività: mercati all'aperto notturni, artisti di strada, mostre di artisti locali, piscina all'aperto sull'Ile d'or nelle vicinanze.

Un breve viaggio vi porterà a: castello di Chenonceau, castello di Chambord (tutti i principali castelli della Loira).

Pascale was an amazing host. Very welcoming and attentive. She gave great suggestions as to restaurants and places to visit. The apartment was also amazing. It is on a pedestrian street that is filled with restaurants and shops. Very well appointed and clean. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone visiting Amboise. The location is an easy walk to the Royal Amboise Chateay. Leonardo Davinci’s home and the incredible market on Sundays. The office of Tourism is only 1.5 blocks away and is where you will meet your tour guides for all of your Loire Valley explorations

Our Time in Amboise

We spent almost a week at La Maison des Cochers and could not have been happier with our choice. Not only is the first-floor apartment convenient to reach - no schlepping of luggage up and down stairs -, it is also situated on a mostly pedestrian street with easy access to the castle, shops and restaurants. The apartment itself is a mixture of antique furniture and modern appliances, integrated with whimsical pictures. The decor points to an artistic owner, and that owner, Pascale, proved to be an excellent hostess. Not only did she pick us up at the station on learning that we would arrive by train, she welcomed us with a bottle of regional wine and was always reachable in case we needed something. Thank you so much, Pascale. P.S. For aficionados of French baguette for breakfast, there is a bakery a few steps across the street.

Great apartment, perfect host

This is a wonderful apartment in the centre of Amboise but also at the quiet end of town. The flat had everything we needed and is very well equipped, perfect for two. Pascale is a thoughtful and responsive host and the recent addition of the parking space was an added bonus. We were sad to leave this little gem.

Amboise dream stay

Wonderful place with everything you need and a great host. I would highly recommend staying here and the location on the Rue national could not be more perfect as far as access to all of the sights and restaurants. It was a magical French experience.

A lovely stay in the Loire

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pascale's lovely apartment. The description online was exactly what we found upon entering. Pascale was so helpful in finding us parking and providing a fan since the weather had turned very warm. The location is perfect. It's on the quiet end of Rue Nationale, the pedestrian street loaded with shops and restaurants and the Sunday market was just a block away. We cooked several meals at the apartment and loved having the ability to do some launcry. We would welcome another opportunity to stay there.

Wonderful apartment, great location

Excellently appointed. Very convenient kitchen with a very useful collection of kitchen utensils and appliances. This made preparing meals from products bought at the local market a real pleasure. It was nice to have a coffee maker instead of a machine with pods ( which never makes coffee to one's taste!). Counter space in the bathroom was ample which is great for extended stays. We would be happy to stay here again.

A beautiful apartment, right in the heart of Amboise. There's a fabulous bakery across the road; restaurants on your doorstep and you are surrounded by history and amazing views. Pascal was excellent in responding to any queries we had and even picked us up from the train station. Thank you Pacal for a wonderful stay.

Five Stars are Not Enough!!

We cannot recommend this property highly enough. It is perfectly located on the main pedestrian street in the heart of Amboise and has everything one could need in addition to being esquistely designed and squeaky clean. Bed was very comfortable. The property owner Pascale is an absolute sweetheart!! She even picked us up at the train station and left us a bottle of Vouvray in the fridge. We felt so warmly welcomed and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Pascale!!

Great little city, appartement and hostess !

Amboise is a lovely little city in the middle of the Loire valley. It was a pleasure dealing with Pascale; through the entire “process” she was always available and communications were fast and efficient. The appartement is located on the city’s main pedestrian street. Free parking always available nearby. The appartement is well equipped for a great stay. It was a 10 out of 10 !! Would highly recommend dealing with Pascale and staying at this property ! Merci Pascale pour avoir fait notre séjour à Amboise merveilleux!

Wonderful! Amazing!

10 out of 10! Pascale met us at the apartment and was a great host! The apartment is located on the quieter end of Rue Nationale and a very short walk to the centre and cute shops. It has everything we needed and was very comfortable. Parking is not available on the street but free parking is very close by. This is a wonderful little city and highly recommend a stay at this property! Pascale recommended a wine tour at the vigneron Alain Robert and it was a wonderful experience. You must do this if you come. Lovely.

Perfect apartment, Perfect location and Perfect service.

This apt is perfect for our short stay in Amboise. The apt looks like just got remodeled, is in perfect location with 5 min walk to the main square and plenty of restaurants and pastries nearby. And lastly, Pascale, the owner, was so responsive and so accommodating. She picked us up and dropped us off at the Gare. We couldn’t ask for a better “home” for our stay in Amboise.

Wonderful hostess, excellent location!

We loved our stay in Amboise and would stay here again. Pascale is extremely helpful and responsive. She picked us up at the train station, told us about the neighborhood, and showed us how to use the washer and the induction cook top. When the washer didn't work, she replaced it the next day. Lots of wonderful sites, restaurants and shops are in easy walking distance.
