“This is such a great place to go to unplug for a few days! There is WiFi, but it is not fast, which is exactly what we were looking for! We stayed three nights and did not leave the grounds. The restuarant is open for breafast, lunch, and supper, and there is a small fridge in each cabin. The staff is attentive, helpful, and friendly; we happened to be there during a winter storm, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was safe and comfortable. “The room was clean but the back of the bathroom door had dirty dog foot prints on it and the bathtub had a dark ring around it. The creamer at the morning breakfast bar was not bad but the shelf stable cream was curdled in the container. The property was under construction and that would have been nice to know ahead of time but we did not hear any noise from that during our stay. The pool and pool area was great, so fun for the kids. “1st, was placed next to a bunch of construction groups (noisy), 2nd: TV was broke, 3rd: no glasses to even get a drink of water, 4th: toilet wouldn't flush right, 5th: ABSOLUTLY NOTHING FOR BREAKFAST, no coffee, no rolls, and no staff to be found at 7am, this was a train wreck........................................... ”

“Apartment was clean, down to earth (literally, lol...semi-basement apartment, but totally comfortable and plenty of air and light), both furnished and kitchen stocked with the basics, neighborhood was quiet, and bed was comfortable. Considering the sketchy reviews of hotels in the area and that the only dependable one was the Holiday Inn (which charges *Chicago* rates), this was an excellent place to stay. Highly recommended!”
