“We had an excellent stay at The Addison. The room was clean and charming. The place was meticulously maintained. Ron and Lisa were excellent hosts. They helped with restaurant suggestions as well as places to visit. Bicycles were provided for free and made for a great way to get around and see Fernandina. The happy hour made for a nice way to meet other guests. I absolutely would recommend The Addison as a great place to stay on Amelia Island. Absolutely worth it!”

“I came here a few years ago with my mother and had to come back with my girlfriend. Absolutely beautiful hotel for a fair price. Breakfast was excellent (if a bit pricy), staff was kind and helpful. It’s also very close to the beach, so we could take a 3 minute walk over there whenever we wanted. Highly recommend this hotel! Would love to return someday.”

“I loved this place! Some colleagues were staying at boring, soulless places, like the Ritz, but I chose this because it looked really authentic and homely. It was my first time in Florida and I was really happy sipping my beer, listening to the country music from the next door bar and feeling like I was on holiday, even though I was there for work! Breakfast was good - always some proteins, yoghurt, fruit and sweet stuff on offer. The bed and pillows were also super comfortable. The local area...

“The room Was excellent. Quiet atmosphere, warm cookies nightly and friendly staff. Our room was serviced everyday and brought fresh linens daily. Excellent stay and the location can’t be beat. About 1/4 mile from the beach. Easy walking distance. And super close to great breakfast and dinner options. Sliders bard and grill have nightly bands on weekends and during the season every night. Great stay ”

“Very clean , comfortable room and Inn. Staff, Lisa and Penny couldn’t have been nicer, helping with our trip to Cumberland Island with packed lunch in a lunchbox. If you’ve never had a claw foot tub, like me, a little challenging to get in and out of. An issue with the hot water in our room, that oddly seemed better later in morning after breakfast.
