“Very nice room, great staff. Would not feel comfortable walking around area at night.”

“One of the best places I’ve stayed. Wonderful room; clean, new, modern with plenty of space. The only negative: desk staff did not explain how to pay for parking. You aresupposed to scan a QR code when you park, but I thought I should scan at the end since that’s typically when yo pay for something. The hotel should handle payment and add it to the bill like everyone else does. ”

“This Holiday Inn Express was very clean, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the breakfast had the consistency that you’d expect from a Holiday Inn Express! Parking is $25 a night, though, which felt slightly exorbitant and definitely racks up quickly. ”

“Beautiful historic property. If you like historical hotels this is nice one. Staff was, without exception very good. I gave 4 stars because of the age and wear, which is to be expected, but might bother travelers who prefer newer properties. Great blackout curtains. The hotel bar was good.”

“The front desk staff were exceptional. They were really the stars of my entire trip. They allowed us to check in a little early and the room was ready, and they were nice and friendly for my entire stay. There were a lot of great options for breakfast which include waffles. Also, the homemade biscuits were the best biscuits I've tasted in a very long time. I didn't use the housekeeping service-but I'm sure they would have been just as great. “Will definitely be staying here again! I. The heart of KC super close to some of our favorite dining options. We got to stay in one of the renovated rooms and it was really nice and clean. Cost $20 to park, which I’m not sure why but i paid it nonetheless . We got a free goody bag with popcorn and waters upon arrival too. All in all, I’ve stayed at a few other hotels in KC and this one i will be returning to! ”
