Absolut toller kurzurlaub
Eine super saubere sehr gepflegte liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung und ganz tolle Vermieter. Die Gegend ist zum radfahren gemacht und bis nach Amsterdam sind es auch nur ca.8 km mit dem Rad. Das Dorf selber ist super und die Vermieter super hilfsbereit und stehen mit guten tips zur seite Ein rundum gelungener kurzurlaub. 5 Sterne sind in jeder hinsicht gerechtfertigt.

Storybook
The setting was storybook, the host was warm, welcoming and communicative. The bed was a dream and the breakfast was beautiful. The fresh OJ and jams were our favorite. We would love to return when back in Amsterdam. Thank you! Bus is about a 8-10 minute walk City center ranged from 38-55 minutes

A Stunning and Magical Cottage Gettaway
After an incredibly long and hard busy season at work, my fiancé and I decided to celebrate his birthday in Amsterdam! We knew we wanted to be close to the city, but stay somewhere that would really let us recharge our batteries and allow us to immerse ourselves in Dutch culture. Klaas and Mariannas stunning cottage was just what we were looking for! Not only was the cottage incredibly cute, and very well maintained, but the garden outside was stunning (even in the winter). Both Klaas and Marianna went above and beyond, helping us make reservations, Giving directions, and making the most delicious breakfast for us each morning. Our stay was more then we could have asked for and we cannot wait to go back!

Lovely Casita
We loved our stay with Klaas and Marianna - friendly, informative and so helpful. Breakfast was delivered and was delicious. Unit was spotless and had every thing we needed for the stay. The owners are so gracious but not overbearing. We plan on returning . The town itself is easy to navigate plus the bus stop into Amsterdam is just 5 mins away. If you get a chance stay !

Bed in Broek is absolutely top in class of B and B’s! Klaas and Marianna could not have been lovelier or more accommodating. The property is spotless and offers an oasis away from home. Ein ruhiger, malerischer Ort durchzogen von kleinen Kanälen, erinnert fast etwas an eine Filmkulisse. Das Zimmer ist liebevoll und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts, es ist klein, aber sehr gemütlich mit einem wunderschönen Garten. Die Gastgeber könnten nicht freundlicher und netter sein, und auch der Frühstücksservice ließ keine Wünsche offen. Außerdem fährt man in einer guten halben Stunde mit dem Fahrrad nach Amsterdam, immer am Wasser entlang auf tollen Fahrradwegen. In jedem Fall ein Geheimtipp

Die Unterkunft war sehr hochwertig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Vermieter war sehr nett und hat einem alle Wünsche bis ins letzte Detail erfüllt. Das Frühstück war der Hammer. Sehr lecker und vieles selbst gemacht! Broek ist ein süßes kleines Dorf nur zwei Bushaltestellen von der Metropole Amsterdam entfernt! Man fühlte sich sofort wohl!

Gorgeous B&B in picturesque village
Klaas and Marianna are absolutely fantastic hosts! Everything was exactly as described, communication with Klaas was excellent. Klaas and his wife were so accommodating, they prepared a whole vegan breakfast every morning for us. The village of Broek is gorgeous! Very safe area, super pretty. The B&B is in a wonderful garden with hundreds of plants, we loved it. A must stay for sure! Amsterdam is super accessible from Broek with a bus stop just a 5 min walk away from the B&B. Takes around 20 min to get to Amsterdam Centraal. Buses to Amsterdam Noord and Centraal come every 5 minutes. We can’t wait for our next stay with Klaas and Marianna. Thank you for having us :)

A Perfect Setting
This B & B is in a beautiful village just outside of Amsterdam. Our hosts Klass and Marianna went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They booked reservations for us at a local restaurant for the day we arrived and brought us to the ferry on the day we left. The cottage and garden are lovely. The breakfasts each day were scrumptious. Easy transportation by bus to and from Amsterdam. A perfect visit!

Wonderland in Waterland
The property was as described and pictured. Situated 10km from Amsterdam and 15-20 minutes by bus to Amsterdam central station it allows you to experience the hustle and bustle of a big city and escape back to the peace and tranquility of a pretty village. Klaas and Marianna were great hosts and their B&B has all the amenities you need for a pleasant stay. I can't forget to mention the great breakfasts delivered to your door step every morning. I highly recommend a stay.

Wonderful stay in Broek in Waterland
This bed and breakfast is exactly what my partner and I needed — it was the perfect getaway while still being conveniently close to the city. Klaas and Marianna are lovely and accommodating hosts, with easy communication. The breakfast alone is worth staying for. The property itself is in very good condition and exactly how it looks in the photos. A very good and comfortable stay, I already look forward to coming back!

Best host ever Klaas
My wife and I arrived in Amsterdam on a Sunday morning but unfortunately or baggage did not arrive with us. Klaas helped us from the moment we connected and we told him of our issue. He directed us have our driver speak with him in Dutch to explain road repairs need the cottage and he picked us up in his car to a wonderful cottage in his backyard. The accommodations were excellent and the home made breakfast was a real treat. Can you imagine our delight having a comforting meal when we arrived. The weather was chilly but our cozy cabin was snug and warm. Our hero Klaas worked with us for two days to help retrieve our luggage including offering to drive us back to AMS to pick up our luggage. I picked up luggage in Brussels airport four days later again because of the help of “Best host ever” Highly recommend this property and host

In brief, Bed in Broek is the VRBO “trinity” you always look for: Warm hosts, great accommodations and a memorable stay. Klaas and Marianna are gracious hosts, tending to guests’ needs from initial booking and arrival through departure. Their hospitality– warm, friendly and courteous– is nothing short of outstanding. Questions are answered, requests are met… all with helpful expedience. The BiB cottage is well appointed with charm, comfort and thoughtful design. All the little things that you haven’t thought of are at hand or nearby. Located in Broek (an historic visit on its own), it is an idyllic setting both to explore and return to each day after the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam or after visiting the must-see nearby villages and neighborhoods. Memorable is THE key word here. All aspects of BiB will have you planning your next stay here — we certainly are!

Charming cottage
This property surpassed our expectations. The hosts were so attentive. The little extra touches like complimentary wine and beer, robes and slippers, pre-stamped post cards, pre-loaded transportation passes were a nice touch. The bed was super comfortable. Netflix and YouTube on the TV at night were a pleasant surprise after being in Europe for several days with no English speaking channels. Breakfast was superb. The village has a few sweet little restaurants to enjoy so it’s not necessary to travel in to Amsterdam for lunch or dinner if you don’t choose to. I highly recommend this property.

Peace outside the hustle of the city

All expectations exceeded beyond our dreams.
Wow. Amazed. Eagerly waiting until we can plan a trip solely for this place and neighborhood. Just some of the feelings this place produced and I still feel like I’m doing it an injustice. Klaas is the top echelon of hosts. The b&b was 6/5 stars. Book this place if it’s available during your dates because once word really spreads about this place it will be impossible to find vacancy. An added bonus if you do a little research is to be there during a full moon and sit by the lake in front of the church. Breakfast was drool worthy, fresh and not skimped on in any way. Eine wirklich super gemütliche und ruhige kleine Ferienwohnung, genauso wie wir es uns wünschten. Der Vermieter Klaas war wirklich super zuvorkommend und das ganze Ambiente und das kleine historische Dorf rundeten die ganze Sache nur noch mehr ab. Beautiful garden cottage
Wow, what an amazing place. Klaas and Marianna are truly kind and caring people who work hard to ensure their guests have an outstanding experience. You don't feel like a guest as you are treated like family. The cottage is a perfect retreat with all the amenities needed for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. There were so many thoughtful extra touches. Klaas guided us with recommendations on transportation, sightseeing and dining. The bed felt like we were sleeping on a cloud, so comfortable! The personally prepared breakfasts were a culinary delight! We fell in love with Broek in Waterland and the surrounding villages. It is incredibly close to Amsterdam, yet so peaceful and quiet. The endless canals and beautiful homes were breathtaking. We were so sad to leave but are incredibly happy we had this amazing experience. We will be back if they’ll take us! This lovely cottage is located in a gorgeous, historic, village 13 minutes by bus from Amsterdam center. We had everything we needed in the small but beautifully appointed cottage: the bed was heavenly, the breakfasts, prepared by our host, were delicious. We were exceptionally well cared for while also allowed complete privacy. A rare combination. We cannot recommend Bed in Broek highly enough.

Hospitality at its finest!
Our stay at Klaas and Marianna's Bed in Broek cottage was delightful. Set in the storybook village of Broek in Waterland, you instantly feel refreshed by the peaceful surroundings. Whether you have the delicious and ample breakfast in the private garden, your room, or on Klaas' boat while touring the picturesque canals, you feel pampered. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay- a comfortable bed, nice bathroom with amenities, a mini kitchen with an assortment of teas & coffee, etc. There are robes for lounging and umbrellas for the rainy days. There is also excellent WiFi. We purposely left our itinerary somewhat open, and are so glad we did. Klaas had recommendations of where to go, and how to get there- helping us with a day trip to Friesland and a personal tour of the Rijksmuseum with Bregtje Viergever (theartofguiding.nl). He even provided preloaded GVB cards for public transportation that is easily planned with his help and the GVB app. Yet, with all of their help and personal attention, they also seem to intuitively know when you’re feeling social, or would like some privacy. Klaas and Marianna's hospitality and kindness exceeded all other vacation rental properties in which we’ve stayed, and are the standard to which all should try to achieve. It was truly an amazing experience, we felt like family, and we just can’t stop telling everyone about our wonderful time and excellent hosts. Absolutely the best!

Dieser Aufenthalt war wirklich tiptop! Kommunikation hat super geklappt, inklusive toller Tips von Gastgeber für Touren. Das B&B liegt sehr idyllisch im alten Dorf, aber auch der Transfer nach Amsterdam hat super geklappt und man ist schnell im Zentrum. Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Beyond superb
Klaas and Marianna are some of the best people you will ever meet. This is our favorite place we’ve stayed to date. The cottage is super cute and cosy. Everything was thoughtfully arranged. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom is gorgeous. The little kitchenette was also perfect. We wanted to be away from the bustle of Amsterdam after a day of sightseeing and their place was perfect. It was so easy to take the bus into the city center and back to the cottage at night. We wish we had one more day to just relax in Broek in Waterland and hang out in their gorgeous garden. The breakfast was beyond phenomenal and Klaas was always available if we needed anything. We will definitely be back as they made us feel like royalty. So helpful and so kind.

Normalerweise führe ich keine Bewertungen durch, aber in diesem Falle möchte ich ein ganz großes Lob aussprechen. 1. Die Unterkunft in einer wunderschönen Lage findet sich im Gartenhinterhof, eine wunderschöne traumhafte Ferienunterkunft. In einem Blumengarten kann man draußen sitzen, aber auch drinnen findet sich ein gut durchgestyltes Ambiente mit einem großen Bett, einem exzellenten Bad sowieso Kaffee- & Teekochgelegenheit. Um das Frühstück braucht man sich keine Sorgen machen. Der Gastgeber bereitet ein vielfältiges und ausgiebiges Frühstück - selbst um 6:15 Uhr- zu, gesund und nahrhaft mit Obst, Müsli, Brötchen, Croissants, Pfannkuchen, Ei, Omelett, Wurst, Käse, Marmelade und frisch gepresstem Orangensaft. 2. Die Lage: Die Unterkunft befindet sich an einem schnuckeligen kleinen Flecken, mit ehemaligem Hafenbecken, kleinen Kanälen, außerhalb von Amsterdam, jedoch ist die Metrostation Noord mit einer kurzen Busfahrt jederzeit gut zu erreichen. Auch das Meer ist nicht weit.. 3. Der Gastgeber: Und nun das Wichtigste. Ich möchte mich hier gerne ausdrücklich bei meinem Gastgeber für die ausgesprochene Freundlichkeit bedanken. Trotz später Stunde bereitet er einen persönlichen Empfang vor, seine Tipps sind exzellent und das Ermöglichen eines Museumsbesuchs (Van Gogh) ist herausragend. Alle Absprachen erfolgten jederzeit mit Zuverlässigkeit. Zusammenfassend ist Broek in Waterland eine traumhafte Unterkunft, um Amsterdam und Umgebung kennen zu lernen. Lch

Perfectly placed for Amsterdam and surrounds
We feel as if we've discovered a secret sanctuary in booking this property. Everything was perfect, and the personal attention to every detail and aspect of our stay was of the highest standard. The well-equipped cottage, nestled in a quiet, incredibly pretty, private garden, with top-quality fittings and interior decoration, was perfectly equipped for travelling guests, and full of charm and comfort. The location was so beautiful, and such a short and easy bus ride from the mayhem of Amsterdam. The peaceful, beautifully scenic and picture-perfect village neighborhood was like being in a storybook every time we returned from a day trip to nearby towns/sights. It was so easy to catch a bus to the historic fishing village of Marken, then a ferry over to Volendam, and another short bus ride to quaint, picturesque Edam village. Our hosts were super friendly and helpful, making us feel so welcome and at home in their idyllic home and garden, and nothing was too much trouble for making our stay as comfortable and pleasurable as possible. The breakfasts were exceptional, expertly prepared and presented, with a different egg option each morning, plentiful and invariably of high quality and standard. All in all, we were treated like treasured visitors, and left with a feeling of such contentment and enjoyment that we wouldn't hesitate to book here again whenever we are in the area.

wunderbares Häuschen in blühender Gartenanlage
Für uns war der Aufenthalt sehr wohltuend . Eine Oase im diesem alten Dorf Broek ,mitten in einem blühenden Garten . Die Wohnung super eingerichtet es fehlte uns nichts. Das Frühstück jeden Morgen draussen im Garten , ein Genuss wir haben auch Ferien von dem Auto gemacht und viel mit dem Bus besichtigt mit dem Fahrrad ist auch gut möglich . Klass und Marianne haben uns gute Tipps gegeben ,sie haben uns den Urlaub sehr angenehm gemacht . Gemütliches Haus in ruhiger Lage mit schneller Anbindung an Amsterdam
Wir hatten einen tollen Kurzurlaub in diesem wunderschönen Häuschen! Das Frühstück war jeden Tag aufs neue besonders und sehr lecker, das Häuschen bis aufs kleinste Detail ausgestattet und sehr sauber, das Bett sehr bequem! Ein schönes modernes Badezimmer mit großer Dusche, ein wunderschöner Ausblick in den Garten in dem man es sich mit Liegestühlen bequem machen kann. Amsterdam ist mit dem Bus in nur 15 Minuten zu erreichen und auch die Nahegelegenen Orte wie Edam kann man gut mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln besuchen. Es hat einfach alles gepasst und wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen. Dankeschön an Klaas und Marianne für die Gastfreundschaft! Laura und Tobias

The perfect stay!
We experienced some of the greatest hospitality from Klaas and Mariana we’ve ever received. The room itself was gorgeously designed and extremely comfortable, opening to an exquisite and spacious garden; the breakfast was delicious and lovingly brought to our door each morning; the town of Broek in Waterland is wonderful and warm and picturesque and located so conveniently close to Amsterdam, as well as a beautiful countryside filled with other places to visit. But even if none of that were true, we would recommend staying here just to enjoy Klaas and Mariana’s kindness and genuine care for their guests. They were always several steps ahead, anticipating our needs for weather and warmth and anything else we couldn’t know. We honestly felt sad to leave such sweet hosts and we hope to be lucky enough to go back one day - if you’re reading this, it’s your lucky day, because you’ve found the perfect place to stay.

Traumhafter Kurzurlaub
Wir haben als zwei Freunde einen wunderbaren Kurzurlaub in der Nähe von Amsterdam erlebt! Dabei haben uns Klaas und Marianne die ganze Zeit unglaublich freundlich unterstützt! So haben Sie leckere Drinks und Kaffee bereitgestellt, jeden Morgen ein unfassbar leckeres Frühstück gezaubert, Plätze im Restaurant reserviert, Leihfahrräder für die Fahrt nach Amsterdam innerhalb einer Stunde organisiert und vieles mehr! Besser als jeder Hotelservice und unglaublich freundlich! Das Appartement ist sehr hochwertig ausgestattet und das Bett lässt einen sehr gut schlafen! Alles in Allem geht der Service total über das Übliche Maß hinaus! Wir kommen sehr gern wieder nach Broek in Waterland.

A Little Slice of Heaven
My husband and I had a wonderful three night stay at this high end studio cottage with an exquisite private garden. Klaas and Marianna were the perfect hosts. They’ve created a beautiful and welcoming retreat for the weary traveler with tons of thoughtful details. The town of Broek in Waterland is stunningly beautiful and it was easy to reach Amsterdam from the village. The colorful garden added an extra room to the cottage and was perfect for relaxation, dining or just admiring the beautiful flowers. One of the highlights of our trip was touring the nearby countryside. Klaas made excellent recommendations about sightseeing and dining. The bed was perfection and I could write an entire page about the breakfasts, which were delicious, healthy and prepared with love. In the end we left this little slice of heaven with heavy hearts. Highly recommend!

Perfect location
My husband and I spent 2 nights here. It was clean and just as described. We had a lovely time. The breakfasts were wonderful. The garden is lovely and it’s amazing quiet for how close it is to Amsterdam centraal. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent hosts. Lots of nice thoughtful details
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hosts were very friendly and thought of lots of nice little touches throughout our weekend stay that made us feel very welcome. The place was very clean, warm and cozy and quiet. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of food. Good location, located close to several very picturesque little villages.

Hervorragende Ferienwohnung
Das Domizil lässt keine wünsche offen! Alles in der Wohnung ist bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht und durch die Herzlichkeit der Vermieter ist es ein stimmiger und perfekter Ort für den Urlaub! Das Frühstück ist granidos und wir durften ebenfalls Sonderwünsche einbringen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr auf das Wohl seiner Gäste bedacht. Ich empfehle dieses Domizil und freue mich auf meinen nächsten Besuch!
