So to start off I WOULD TO HAVE LIKEN TO GET A NOTICE A DAY BEFORE THAT OUR HOTEL HAD NO POWER! DUE TO THE NO POWER. THERES NO HOT POOL. & THE KEY CARDS THAT THEY GAVE ME, DIDNT WORK ON ANYTHING. SO IN ORDER FOR ME TO USE ANYTHING I HAD TO GO ALL THE WAY TO THE FRONT DESK TO ASK FOR ASSISTANCE OPENING ANYTHING.SO WITH THAT BEING SAID THE RESTAURANT WASNT OPEN EITHER. I had to wait to check into my hotel at 8 due to all this because at 4 the generators weren’t working or on yet. Not to mention the food & drink machines didn’t work & when I went to look for one. THE STAFF MEMBERS SENT ME DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS. It seemed like they didn’t even know where stuff was Cause I later found out when I went to the GIFT SHOP RIGHT NEXT TO THE FRONT DESK that they sold drinks the whole time! So I went on a 30 min wild goose chase for a drink, up and down the stairs with a staff member when it was literally right next to where I asked. Did I also mention that when I asked if I can have some sort of discount due to the situation And I booked this 2 monthes in advances. The front desk lady said “of course we will comp your 20$ parking” ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? 20$ when I’m paying 400$ for no hot water, no electricity no nothing. They gave me the choice to leave and find another hotel with reimbursement but I live 6 hours away and most places were taken up. I got into town not knowing this information with the holiday inn when this incident happened a WHOLE 24 hours before I got there.
