“the location is amazing ...overlooking the sea with access to wide open beaches and no people - a big contrast to Verkala north cliff beach. “We were a honeymoon couple and we were not given the category of room which we had asked for and booked for- floating room. Whilst booking we had called the hotel that we particularly want the floating room when booked with expedia but not given. Even the staff is lousy. Expedia staff kept calling the hotel but the night Reception staff kept hanging their phone without answering and finally kept the phone aside.spoiled our honeymoon plans. ”

“The reception staff was very friendly. However the room was a disappointment. There was not toilet paper, the sheets were dirty and stained. I had to use a towel on the bottom sheet and slept in my clothes. I booked for two nights and stayed one night and checked out. The location was nice very close to the beach and local restaurants. I would not recommend staying here. ”

“Really sweet spot just off the beach up a commerce alley. Jishnu the host was very nice and helpful with getting comfortable. Hot shower if you want it - but I’ve learned to love taking cold showers here - and the bathroom was perfectly clean and well appointed. I will be back here at the Gypsy next year for sure.”
