“Hotel vecchio, accolti da una terribile puzza di aglio bruciato. Camere grandi ma con moquette ovunque. Di notte alle 3 è entrato un individuo in camera, qndo abbiamo fatto le nostre rimostranze alla reception la signora ha fatto spallucce”

“The view from the small balcony is awesome. The hotel is right on the sea wall. Location convenient to downtown and is next to the main marina. Safeway in walking distance. Rooms very basic and you can hear everything in the neighboring rooms.”

The only problem that I had was we traveled with another couple and we booked our room at the same time and paid the exact same price. But our friends were given a larger, upgraded room that had amenities that our room did not, such as a bigger shower, jetted tub and fireplace. “Port Townsend is an old charming town and everything in it is old so set your expectations accordingly. This is a motel. I stayed for 1 week for an event at Centrum and this motel had almost everything I needed. A small fridge, coffee maker, wi-fi, microwave, comfortable bed, quiet (even though it's near the main road into town), nice hot shower, great parking and a 5-minute drive to Fort Worden. “This is a self-help apartment. It was very expensive. We were afforded no early check in, even though we far in advance notified them that we had a complicated situation. As a result, because we were at an event, could only check in late. Check out is at 10AM, which is an obnoxious, creeping habit of hotels and air b and b's. “It’s called the Belmont Hotel on all the travel sites but when you get there, they say through the phone that it’s called Vacasa. This hotel is not open when you peek inside the windows of the hotel and front desk and no one around to assist.
