“This motel is in a great location for walking around Bryson City. The staff that we interacted with were kind and helpful. Our room was good with enough space to move around and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was relatively updated but kind of small and I can't imagine a larger person being able to get into the shower. And there was no way to just have the light on without the noisy fan. All in all though it was a good affordable place to stay while we explored the area.”

“We had a wonderful and relaxing time here. This b&b is tucked away from the hustle of town while still being conveniently located. The grounds are lovely to walk around, and we enjoyed seeing the various animals that live nearby. Toni is a wonderful host to the guests and really made all the difference in our stay. “Very convenient and budget friendly hotel for visiting Bryson City area. Desk clerk very accommodating to motorcycle riders, directed us to parking where bike would be visible from room, which is important!! Hot breakfast was good. We are local travelers and will be back soon. ”

“Close to restaurants and shopping. Great Smokey Mountain Railroad Train Depot about a 2 minute drive from their parking lot. The staff is AMAZING! They give you options for your breakfast and serve it exactly the way you want it. The homemade blueberry bread is delicious. You will get a tour of the grounds as soon as you arrive. The rooms are very clean. The whole place is very charming. I highly recommend. ”

“Step back 105 years and sink yourself into a time of relaxation and small town charm. The Calhoun House has all the modern comforts but a real yester-year feel. Ed is a great historian and host and makes you feel at home, and we did.....stayed an extra unplanned night too!”

“I received a call (went to voicemail) from them asking what time I would I arrive. I called back an hour later (10:30pm) telling them in a voicemail I would arrive around12am but I was unsure because I was in a poker tournament. When I showed up at 12:15am nobody would answer the front door or answer the phone. I called 10x and waited outside for 15 mins waiting for somebody to help me get the kieys yo the room i had paid for on the internet reservation I made. I lost out on the room and when I...

“It was nice to have a laundry room since we've been traveling a while. The locations is excellent and the owners are good people. However, some of the room conditions could be improved during off season. Examples from our room include a desk chair that would flip you over; and a toilet that rocked with a seat that looked burnt under the lid. Just minor stuff. Overall, it was a quite, nice place to stay. We've stayed here several times now and each time has been comfortable.”
