    Questo storico Log Ranch Headquarters magnificamente restaurato si trova su 7 acri e si trova a 9 miglia a sud di Angel Fire appena fuori dalla strada per Ocate, NM in una splendida e pastorale Lago Nero. Godiamo di una vista senza ostacoli tra diverse stagni, zone umide, e ampie (migliaia di acri) terre ranch che circondano la casa. Ottimo per il bird watching in estate e durante le stagioni migratori. Mandrie Elk possono essere visti quasi ogni giorno nei campi vicino al casa e nel cortile anteriore, così come aquile, falchi pescatori e molti uccelli acquatici visitare i nostri laghetti privati. Si trova a 14 min. auto autostrada al parcheggio superiore a Angel Fire Ski Area. Appartato e tranquillo anche se è appena fuori da una strada statale in buone condizioni. Questa è l'area che aiuta a dare 'Land of Enchantment' il suo nome. La vista sulla valle sono mozzafiato. La zona del lago Nero è dove sono state girate le scene ad alto paese dal film "Lonesome Dove". E 'veramente un piacere di vivere questa struttura storica e speciale. Tutto questo appoggio contro terre pubbliche di massa.

    Questa due camere da letto un bagno 1400 sq. Ft. Casa in legno di pelliccia rosso dorme 5 con un letto king size e una regina. C'è anche un pieghevole regina divano. La grande cucina e soggiorno combinata offre una splendida cornice per la visualizzazione di natura e del tempo condividere con la famiglia e gli amici. Sono stati appena installato una nuova gamma e lavastoviglie. Con una stufa a legna e molteplici vetrate è luminoso e allegro di giorno e calda e accogliente di notte. La casa ha anche ad alta efficienza centrale termica.

    I nostri ospiti hanno detto che non possono descrivere quanto meraviglioso la loro esperienza è stata durante il soggiorno presso di noi. Si tratta di una struttura di montagna unico che offre un'esperienza davvero montagna.

Our stay was for the full month of July. We fully enjoyed our time. Every thing we needed to set up housekeeping was there. The house became our home away from home. The furnishings and atmosphere are a combination of the old along with all the modern comforts. There are endless views, especially out the large living room area window. The movement of the sun and the beautiful clouds of northern NM were continually changing this spectacular view. The view includes 2 ponds, open grassy areas and tree covered hills in the distance. We often saw grazing deer and occasionally even a herd of elk. We give our stay here an A in every way.

Angel fire adventure.

Wonderful cabin. Quiet and clean with a very rustic but creature comforts feel. Lots of space for outdoor activities. Lots of wildlife to watch. Absolutely beautiful place.

This was a wonderful place to stay, comfortable bed, quiet. It is right off the highway though so not exactly secluded ranch getaway if you’re looking for a cabin in the middle of nowhere. To help with next guests comfort, we could have used fire starter, a lighter, and decaf coffee and hot tea options would add to comfort. Thank you again for the comfortable stay.

Stunning defines this home and surrounds. The thick timber walls, wood floors and abundant windows with gorgeous views surround you with quiet and beauty. It is history with today’s luxuries and everything we needed from comfy beds to a well-equipped kitchen and the convenience of the washer/dryer and internet. Our host was responsive to our questions and very gracious. We will definitely return!

The listing for this property shows conflicting information as to the location of the house. The map and distance to points of interest shows it centrally located, but the description states it is 9 miles away from town. Due to weather and planned activities, we needed a nearby place.The host did respond to my request to cancel, but to date has not responded to my request for a partial refund. We never saw the house or checked in.

Peaceful Cabin getaway

Such a cool getaway! The elk heard was one of the coolest parts. Sitting on the patio and watching the stars. We heard the Elk sounds and seeing them in the distance was memorable. My family enjoyed it. Short drive to Angel Fire for Groceries etc. Cabin has a good feel inside. Thanks for sharing this!

Perfectly quaint family getaway!!

We had a lovely stay at the Black Lake Ranch! Astounding views of all ranges of wild life. We were a little sad there was no hot tub but a little morning snow made up for it. Absolutely beautiful home & great communication between the owner. So thankful we got to stay here for my Dad’s 62nd birthday!!

Cozy Cabin

The property was lovely! The property manager was helpful and very responsive. The place was clean and spacious. It had everything you could need for cooking. I will say the oven took a while to heat so wasn’t able to use that like I thought, but the other appliances did the trick. Overall, really enjoyed the stay!

Cool place - nice setting

Cool place with interesting and appropriate furnishings. We didn't get to stay the whole time because we were hit with an unusual May snow storm and lost power, and water. Hard to communicate with Edward because of weak cell phone coverage without the internet. But he came through and refunded us for our lost night. We really enjoyed our time there and in the surrounding area.

Almost perfect

The place is beautiful! We saw wildlife as soon as we drove up to the place. It was so calm and quiet. The lighting was a little dim at night but in the day with all the natural light it is fine. The shower is super tiny but the hot water is excellent! The kitchen had everything we needed. We did day trips to Red River and Taos and enjoyed the Village of Angel Fire. The cabin is about 15 minutes from town but is a nice drive. The cabin is a perfect spot to relax and be in nature.
