“The room was in good condition, but things were old, but it was clean and it was comfortable. Had a nice fireplace. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was OK. Dinner was all right. Breakfast was fine however, the hotel is located in a very remote area and to get there, we had to travel on a very steep narrow curvy road that took us a very long time and then as we made the turn to get to the hotel, the road was unpaved and filled with potholes and really craters, and the 4 miles...

“Clean rooms and friendly staff. La Fortuna is about a 30 min drive. The friendly (Giovanni and Louis) make the drive worth it. We were able to spot sloth from the facility (guess we were lucky). I would definitely recommend it if you are on a budget. ”

Nota negativa hanno diversi cani che entrambe le 2 notti in cui ho soggiornato hanno abbaiato per tutta la notte non facendoci dormire. “It's a nice place to watch sunset. The staff is very friendly and nice. The pool is nice. You can walk on the beach but the water didn't feel clean for swimming ”

“The hotel was very nice and relaxing. What really set it apart was the hospitality. The staff is so accommodating and welcoming. Genesis and Kevin in particular really went above and beyond. Kevin recommended some great areas to check out locally and Genesis did as well. Make sure to ask Genesis to make you her signature drink. It is the yummiest Jamaica drink I’ve ever had! ”

“Cindy, the owner, was an excellent host. Very proactively engaged in our experience from the day we booked. The bungalows look into the forest and dining pavilion were new, modern, and well equipped. Cindy is also the chef, and serves and excellent breakfast and dinner. She also arranged activities for us, which was fabulous. The beds were comfortable and large, with an outside deck. The location is remote (which is the point of booking - for that tree canopy experience) and windy drive, so...

“Clean room, helpful staff. Room a biyt outdated but nice and spacious with everything you need. Pool was excellent as were the grounds. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Nothing fancy but very tasty and well cooked, good value for money. 25 mins from airport (12km), easy drive just a little traffic to consider”

“Staff met you at the front, Spanish-speaking only but super nice. The room was fantastic when we stayed. It was a little bit colder so there was a space heater. There’s a menu in the room for options for meals. We didn’t partake in any of this, but it was great to know that we had a food available if needed. “Staff took us to our room only to make us move again after we settled in because she took us to the wrong room, but would not admit her mistake and lied to us instead. Found large bug on our bed crawling. Found more bugs on the ceiling and mosquito flying around in the room and a large beetle on the floor. Lamb burger for dinner meat was undercooked. Told receptionist about everything and they said and did nothing. ”

“The gentleman who was at the front desk walked out to the road. He asked for my be name and then took us to the gate and let us in. It's Costa Rica. We were WAY later than last call for check in. He took care of us. Nice little hotel. ”
