This is such a beautiful home, we watched everyone that walked by look at the home because it was so beautiful! The short walk to the beach was very nice, the home was clean and had everything we could have needed.

Pool was great , although there were no instructions on how to turn the hot tub and pool heat on . The pool was very cold . We didn’t get to enjoy it until later in the week when the pool guy showed us how to turn everything on . Other than that everything was fantastic.

Lovely home in Anna Maria- if everything works

The house is very pretty and was the perfect size for us- we had my husband and I and my son and his family. Location was great and the pool was wonderful. What wasn’t: we counted on cooking a lot of meals especially with a toddler with dietary restrictions. When we arrived the stovetop wouldn’t turn on. When we let the property management company know they sent over a young man who didn’t know how to fix it and said he would have someone else come out ASAP. Every day we contacted them management company and we were told the same thing- local manager was aware. For the five of us it cost us $200-250/day to eat out. The response from the management company had no urgency. When we left the house after a week, we still had not received a visit or a call. We loved the house but the management company will stop us from ever renting it again. Owners- the home is lovely but the experience was tainted by the management company.

The home was very clean, very enjoyable, and spacious. The pool and spa were very nice. We could not find any instructions for the spectrum TV, and called Vacasa for assistance. They were terrific in servicing our TV needs however after four visits of fighting with the television Maria the customer minded technician realized the spectrum remote was bad. She brought us a new one the next day. It would have been nice if there were any instructions on how to use spectrum as we do not have that service at home. The bikes were not in the condition we would've expected. Also, we checked about an umbrella prior to arriving and did not see one on premises.

Decent, But Disappointing

My husband and I rented Dream Maker for a January winter getaway. The house was lovely and the interior was even better than the photos online. This was our first trip to the quaint and picturesque Anna Maria Island, and although it was their coldest week of the year, we still thoroughly enjoyed our trip and got lots of R&R. With that being said, there were a few basic rental features we are accustomed to when renting through VRBO that this property lacked; simple items like salt & pepper, decent outdoor lounge chairs and even decent-to-good quality bicycles. There were no proper lounge chairs by the pool (we actually went to the nearby Publix to buy cheap pool floats just to have something comfortable to lounge on outside of just putting our towels down on the hard surrounding pool area surface), the beach chairs in the garage were rusted and broken, and the two accessible bikes to use for exploring around the island were rusty and on their last legs (we took a short ride on the first day before heading back to the house in fear something on the bike would break mid-trip). They made horrible clanking noises when riding and didn't seem very safe. (They were actually kind of embarrassing to ride as the noises the overly worn parts made were extremely loud!). We prefer to cook most, if not all, of our meals ourselves instead of dining out and other properties we've rented were much more well equipped for this (i.e. no cooking spray, aluminum foil, spices of any kind, ziplock bags, the kitchen utensils are very outdated--spatulas on their last leg, most Tupperware sets did not match and knives were extremely dull). As a renter, we shouldn't have to sharpen our own knives. While we didn't mind purchasing these essential items ourselves, it would've been nice to already have these stocked like most other properties do. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is an issue with heat distribution throughout the home. The thermostat is located in the master bedroom which is in its own wing of the house--with the tall ceilings of the property, it was almost impossible to get the other rooms heated. We had to close off doors to the other bedrooms and take a box fan to put in the hallway leading from the master bedroom to the main living space (kitchen/living room) just to warm the rooms. The pictures of this home are exactly how it is in person. The location is perfect, close to the beach and the bay, and close to restaurants and shops! We cannot wait to stay here again!

nice house in good location

the house was very well-appointed. there were a LOT of houseflies located in the skylight area above the kitchen island. due to heavy rains there were some leaks from the roof (rusty, malodorous water) that stained the pillow and blanket in 1 of the bedrooms. the check-in process was simple and well-described by vacasa property mgmt. however, the keypad code for the garage door did not work for me. I called vacasa to have them address the issue or provide me further instruction to make the garage much easier to access. i was told by the vacasa telephone rep that she would enter a request that would get a response within an hour. i never got a response from a vacasa rep, either by email or by telephone. therefore, i would rate 1 star for vacasa customer responsiveness. overall was a good place to stay.

Mildew and dirty sheets

We got to the property Saturday evening and noticed that the sheets were dirty on multiple beds and the home smelled like mildew. We left the property Saturday night to stay at a different location after calling a different rental agency. No one from Vacasa called us back during the week despite leaving messages.
