Annapolis Garden Suite

Welcome to our little oasis! We're tucked away on a beautiful residential street yet 7 minutes away from restaurants, coffee shops and all that Annapolis has to offer. 10 minutes from the coast, 30 minutes from Baltimore and 35 minutes from DC.

Your garden suite has a spacious kitchen complete with an oven, dishwasher and Nespresso, two bedrooms (main one comes with a TV opposite the bed, the second bedroom has a desk), a cozy tv nook, laundry and two separate entrances (one on each side of the house). Complete with high speed wifi and a private office space in the 2nd bedroom for remote work surrounded by nature.

This is an in-law suite on the bottom floor of a 3-level home where tenants live on the top floor. There are no shared spaces indoors. The pool is shared. Your suite has a door opening to the side of our backyard and another door opening into the garage. We tried to stock the suite with the things we always need when we travel (spices, pots and pans for cooking, Nespresso, pour over, coffee grinder, towels for sunbathing, Netflix for chilling, etc). Nuestra casa es tu casa.

In case it’s not obvious…we like plants. A lot. Please water our little ones and spritz our air plants if you stay for over a week. They’ll reward you for it!

Guest access

The garden basement suite has two entrances; one in the garage leading down a flight of stairs and another via a set of stone steps that wind through our garden. The garden route is more scenic but not ideal for big suitcases!

Park in our driveway or in the street if you prefer. There's plenty of room.

Our suite is big enough for one dog, but can't accommodate multiple dogs. It's just not big enough for everyone, we've found, and a deep clean between bookings is more thorough when only one dog has been in the space.

Please feel free to give the plants a spritz of water (we usually water on weekends; they'll be fine for up to a week).

We are new to VRBO but have been using other hospitality sites for some time (so far we have 100% five star reviews there)!

We follow an enhanced cleaning process, which is based on a cleaning handbook that was developed in partnership with experts.

Here are a few highlights:

We sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob
We use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination
We provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay. Please do!

Laura was incredibly communicative and a delight as a host. She was understanding and accommodating. The kitchen is gorgeous—wish we had had time to cook! Beds were comfortable, apartment was well laid out. Did not use the pool but it looked like it would have been a good time if we had. Would recommend staying here!

We were only at this residence for one night, even though we booked for 2. We needed a "base" until 6pm and didn't want to be wandering around Annapolis. This is the first time I've stayed in an owner occupied rental, so I was a little nervous. There was no reason to be. Our hosts were wonderful, friendly, and helpful. It is clear they have worked hard to make a nice place for people to stay and are very generous with their beautiful home. We didn't get to use the pool as we weren't there long, but it was beautiful and inviting (as was the whole area). Wonderful, peaceful visit and we'll certainly give them a look the next time we're back in town. Thank you so much!

A wonderful retreat

The property is situated in a quiet neighborhood with woods surrounding a spacious backyard. It is well equipped, from cookwares, seasonings, teas, and coffee etc. in the kitchen to toilette, chargers for gadgets, and pet water bowl. It really makes it a home away home. The host, Laura, is always within reach for things and makes sure everything is ok for us. We will come back to stay if we are in town again.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!

The house is beautiful, clean, and comfortable with a lot of amenities. The grounds are gorgeous -- so peaceful and spacious with lots of plants, trees, and a koi pond. It is just beautiful and serene. While it felt like we were in the woods, the house is just minutes from restaurants, stores, etc. It was a very quick drive to USNA. My mid stayed with me for the weekend and was able to really unwind and relax. Laura is fantastic and so responsive. She even stocked some 1/2-1/2 for my morning coffee! I highly recommend this place and I look forward to coming back when it is warm so that I can sit on the deck and use the pool! The only caution: there are stairs so if someone is disabled, it may not work as the unit is in the bottom part of the gorgeous home.

Idyllic stay

I found this idyllic spot when I was looking for a landing spot for a cross country move. The place is beautiful and well furnished - the hosts have thought of everything. The neighborhood is gorgeous and quiet. And very friendly when I was out walking my dog. It was so nice to come off of days of driving to land in a lovely, quiet, comfortable place.

Fairy Garden

We had a wonderfully, relaxing week in Parole, MD. The accomodations were clean and comfortable. We were in a beautiful woodland setting with a private pool.
