Hotel vecchio poco confortevole in buona posizione
Hotel in buona posizione per visitare il centro di Annecy. Struttura molto vecchia e camere piccole con poco confort. E' un 3 stelle senza nessuna pretesa.

Parfait pour un week-end
Hôtel très bien placé plein centre. Quelques problèmes avec l’eau chaude, qui a du mal à venir et qui une fois la n’a pas beaucoup de pression. Chambre confortable. Jeune fille très sympathique à l’accueil.

petit-déjeuner catastrophe
Nous sommes arrivés à 12h pour avoir un renseignement (j'ai attendu 15 min à la réception sans voir personne) je suis donc partie. Le petit-déjeuner a été une catastrophe; trop de monde, pas de place assises, nous n'avons presque rien eu à déjeuner (pas d'eau de chaude, ni croissant, ni pain au chocolat, ni buffet chaud, ni crèpes, pancakes,..) Malgré tout les 2 staffs présents faisaient de leur mieux.

Wish I Could Have Stayed Longer!
Very clean and updated house. Larger room and bathroom which was lovely. Breakfast available and nearby everything including the train station!

Pretty awful
This hotel is poor and needs a complete overhaul. On the plus side the staff were lovely and accommodating. On our first night the room we had was cramped and airless & made me think of a prison cell. Very difficult to sleep in. The bathroom was dated and in need of a revamp. The shower head holder didn’t work and it was just generally really awful. Signs of wear and tear everywhere & noisy. We asked to move rooms but the hotel was full. We did get a better room on the second night but it too was far from perfect. The reception area is not very welcoming and the breakfast room cramped. I was pleased not to have ordered breakfast. We left it late booking and choices were limited but for a hotel owned by a multinational conglomerate that includes the Savoy in London and Raffles hotel, money is no object and it is not unreasonable to expect better standards, even if this is their budget chain of hotels. Its redeeming features are its location and friendly and helpful reception staff. I would not recommend this hotel unless you are desperate and I will never stay in a Mercure hotel again.

Good location, clean generic room
Good location near train station and short walk to downtown. Room is not all that different from what you'd find at an Ibis Hotel despite it being a more upscale brand.

This property needs to be remodeled. The pictures provided online for the room you pick are not accurate nor are the room sizes. There is no view, the room was not 194 sq ft. The heated towel rack didn’t work, the air didn’t work very well, the maintenance person said it was an old system and he could get it to cool a couple degrees lower. The last night we woke up to water pouring through the bathroom ceiling. The refrigerator didn’t keep the drinks very cold. None of the furniture matched. Very old and worn out.

Great hotel in a great location....convenient to shopping and dining and points of interest. Check-in/out was easy and the staff was very pleasant. The breakfast was nice. The parking garage was only 1.5 blocks away from the hotel. We would stay here again.

The staff are amazing, no complaints. However this is a an old hotel so no a/c. We have to open the window to let some cold air and we came during spring time. We opened the window overnight and it’s comfortable and not noisy at all. No fridge. They have electric and elevator which is a must have for handicap. Though in Europe expect few steps, this is not USA where the businesses are required to have a handicap accessible

Good choice for Annecy
We liked this hotel. Very comfortable beds, everything clean and well-maintained. Good location - short walking distance to the lake and old town area. Restaurants and shopping very close. Breakfast was ok but not great - and the breakfast room is small and cramped. Staff at front desk and breakfast and housekeeping all very nice. They had guest laundry listed on website, but there is none. We went to a local laverie not too far away. Overall, a nice stay at this hotel and we recommend it.
