Arrived home in the UK 2 days ago and thinking of when to go back. Johns studio apartment is a perfect size and has everything you could possibly need in it for your visit. It was exceptionally clean, the bed is big and very comfortable, the aircon is a bonus, although there is a huge powerful ceiling fan too. The balcony is very large and overlooks the roof tops of Old Antibes and the flowers and shrubs just add to the beauty of the view..... a perfect place to sit and chill or eat, with some wonderful French wine. The kitchen has every utensil, pot, pan, item of crockery etc. you could possibly need, although we tend to eat out while there. The choice of restaurants/cafes within a short walk from the property are endless and range from very affordable to very expensive. The location of the property is excellent to explore the French Riviera. A ten minute or so walk to the station and bus station. We,on our two visits,managed to easily visit Monaco, Cannes, Menton, Biot, Nice, Eze, Grasse ( where you can tour the Fragonard perfume factory - very interesting tour. ) Antibes itself has so much to see. Beautiful walks along the ramparts.Port Vauban is virtually across the road from the property, where you can saunter around looking at the millionaires yachts ! John is very helpful and easily contactable if you have any questions and we can honestly say his property is literally perfect in every way ! That, plus the South of France climate, to me, makes this place magical !
