The location was great! We were within walking distance of many great places in Antigua. Upon arrival, communications from the host were spotty. We were able to get into the home, but there were several issues that were never resolved: the downstairs bathroom smelled of sewage, the kitchen smelled very musty and had black mold under the sink, there was black mold in the washer as well, the Wifi did not work (even though we communicated this several times to the host), the bedside lamps in two of the rooms were connected to dead outlets and we were not provided with requested extension cords.Due to the location and no fault of the host, the traffic noise in front of the house was heavy all evening and into the early morning hours, making sleep very difficult.Given these issues, we feel that the listing did not fully match its description or our expectations. The other reviews are very favorable, so it was surprising that we would encounter so many issues. We felt the need to cut our stay short and book a hotel. :(I don't like leaving an unsatisfactory review, as the host was very nice. However, this review is based on the facts of our stay and if I had read about these issues before booking, we would have stayed elsewhere.
