“Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows. “Just needed a place to sleep for a few nights while in the area. Room was clean enough.”

“We got in very late and we got checked in. The place was very old & dirty. There were dead bugs laying around. The bedspread had cigarette holes in them. We looked for bed bugs but thankfully didn't find any. It smelled like marajuana had been smoked in there or under us and the dead bolt on the door was cut out so it didn't lock. “Place is clean and just far enough off the highway to reduce any noise from the highway room was excellant and everything was clean and well pt together the only issue is one of the two elevators is down for repair hopefully will be repaired before we return in a couple of weeks”
