“Stayed here with a friend in preparation for Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. Check in very easy. Warm welcome. Very hospitable staff. We had to leave the hotel early next morning before kitchen opened but staff left us breakfast (cereals, yogurt etc) out for us which was really appreciated. Also made us sandwiches to take with us. Pub/bar and food was really good. Cosy. ”

“One of my favourite places to stay! Beautiful countryside. Lovely comfortable, characterful rooms with horse racing theme!
Friendly staff, and excellent freshly cooked breakfasts made with locally sourced ingredients. Plenty of parking. We stayed on a Tuesday when the main restaurant is closed, but enjoyed our evening meal at the White Goose Pizza Co. which is only minutes walk away.”

“The apartment was spotless and the amenities/fixtures and fittings were of such high quality. The bed and linen were luxurious. We would definitely book again.”

“We stayed in cottage 3 only one night unfortunately as I could look at that view from our window forever. The cottage was spotless and lovely and warm and there was everything you could need for a longer stay .
The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful.
Most of all very,very dog friendly , excellent ! ”
