“Hotel currently going through refurbishment in different areas. Got an excellent deal with B&B so needed hotel for Sat night in area so grabbed. Stated a Club room which was small but cozy. New refurbed but can see has been done cheaply. Existing damaged ensuite door, old bath with new panels just fitted.. if your gonna refurb, do it properly as looks poor. No amenities apart from a Kettle, no cups but were given.2 paper cups and t and coffee when asked at reception. 2 bath towels but no hand towels. Tiny bar of soap and 2 sachets of shower wash. Bed rock hard and very uncomfortable. When stripping bed in morning, to save cleaners a little time , discoverd why we were pulling at the quilt all night...it was a single quilt sideways in a king sized cover! ...

“This was a great stay. A beautiful heritage property. Felicia and her Paul were fantastic hosts. We stayed with our son his wife and their 22 month old toddler. They could not have made us more welcome. Felicia was very accommodating about breakfast and other things as our son was running the Cheshire held marathon. The breakfasts were all delicious. Highly recommend this as a place to stay.”

“Parking is easy, free, small and simple. The hotel is basic but does the job, decor within the rooms is a little tired/would benefit from a freshen up (front doorbell and lock broken, a loose wall light etc) and cleanliness was satisfactory but not the highest standard. “the staff was very kind and available to answer to all of our questions. the location is far from the city, but it’s not impossible to reach it if you’re down to get a few transports. I cannot complain. it was still extremely cheap even if manchester was full of tourists for the oasis concerts! it was a nice short stay for us ”
