“This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy. “Very clear directions to the house. Parking in front of the house, very convenient in Portree! Fully equipped. And the cherry on top: the owner has provided breakfast on site. Great!”

“The property was set in a beautiful very quiet area. The cottage is very clean and comfortable. The only problem I could see for others was it was quite a walk into the town of Portree. It we were out all day so for us it wasn’t a problem. ”

It was only a short walk away to the beach that had lots of tide pools and beautiful views of the Skye coast. Would definitely stay here again.”

“The property was as advertised. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was clean. Check in was easy and seamless. We did have an issue with the oven not working so it would have been useful to have some sort of manual for the property. Perhaps we just didn’t see it. Overall a great experience. ”
