Your Starry Night Retreat begins at this 2-bedroom plus loft cabin. Inside, guests find two bedrooms, each with queen beds, and a loft with a full bed, a twin bed, and a sofa bed—perfect for relaxing or extra guests. The bathroom features a bathtub/shower and a washer/dryer combo. The attractive living space creates warmth with a fireplace and extends outdoors with a spacious deck and a combo charcoal/gas smoker and grill. With heating and air conditioning, the space stays comfortable year-round. Whether you’re unwinding after a day of hiking on the property or at Monongahela National Forest, skiing at Snowshoe Resort, or enjoying quiet moments indoors, this fabulous cabin offers a delightful retreat. Very private property with great amenities. Definitely worth the cost and if we travel back to the area, this cabin would be our #1 choice.

We had a lovely stay at this cabin when we came to the area to visit the Green Bank Observatory and hike-- it was spacious with ample room to spread out and relax, and the host had thought of so many details that made our stay perfect (espresso machine? yes!) The house was easy to find and just a minute off the road but was secluded and quiet. The cabin sits in a clearing that offers a big fire pit out front and a huge deck out back and both are perfect for star watching. The mud room was so practical (and large) and would make a good extra room for a remote worker who needed extra quiet. The house looks brand-new but has vintage elements throughout. We enjoyed the kitchen bar and cooking area and then dinner on the deck. The bathroom was well-stocked and pristine, and the bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds.Outside, we were thrilled to find a trail marker showing us a nice walk through the woods along the ridge line. The trail leads right into the Monongahela Nat'l Forest and continued further than we followed it (since we did not have a tracking app turned on, we turned back after 30 minutes).This cabin can sleep a large group comfortably, but also makes a perfect space for a family! We had a lovely stay in the home and look forward to a return visit.

The pictures don’t come close to capturing the pure beauty and elegance of this cabin. It’s warm, homely, and peaceful. The owner is incredible and very informative. No issues whatsoever.

Quiet cabin to escape life’s demands! Beautifully renovated cabin near Green Bank Observatory, hiking trails, and ski resorts. Amazing large deck off the back of the cabin and another front deck near the firepit/ring. Hooks, storage cubbies, and bench in the huge mudroom. Baseboard heat worked well. Kitchen stocked with basics. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and fire extinguishers. Good WiFi. I hope to return again to Starry Night Retreat.
