Gorgeous View, Stocked with everything you need, and very clean!
This stay was amazing! The views just can't be beat. We knew it was the rainy season so we wanted something with a view from the inside and this place does not disappoint. The kitchen was stocked with necessities like spices, sugar, condiments, and coffee. There was every plate and cooking utensil needed. Even the toilet paper was a premium brand. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was a good heavy quality and cozy. When we had an issue getting the tv to work, the host contacted us right back. It was just a glitch and everything was working fine. I definitely will book again. Thanks for the lovely retreat!

Amazing
This view is nothing short of amazing. The photos dont do it justice. The neighborhood quiet and secluded but a short distance to larger towns with shops and restaurants. Its very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and considerate with emails before check in, linens and the kitchen items available. And they didn't leave a laundry list of to do's for checkout which is nice. I love this whole area and checked availability for our next stay before we even left. The beds are not super comfortable but I think thats so much personal preference its hard to please everyone with a bed. It doesn't even rate into our overall experience. I cant say enough great things about this house. We can't wait to go back.

Sparkling clean with spectacular views!
This little beach house perched on the cliff is even better in person! We thoroughly enjoyed the furnished patio deck with along with the Adirondack chairs placed on the lawn with unobstructed ocean views! We were very impressed with the cleanliness and excellent property condition. Well furnished and stocked with all you need. Location proximity to Cannon Beach and to Manzanita was also great. Communication with owner was smooth and prompt. One of the best beach stays ever and hope to return to in the future!

Cozy Paradise
What a beautiful home! We stayed for Thanksgiving and the weekend and had such a relaxing, wonderful time. The house was clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, and well stocked. The view was absolutely stunning. We would love to go back in warmer weather and enjoy that deck. Beach access was right at the end of the driveway and we spent time everyday exploring. We found quite a few sand dollars and limpets. We rent houses on the Oregon coast 2-3 times per year and this one will definitely go on our favorite list for future trips.

This is the one.
The views can’t be fully appreciated until you are there. It’s so amazing! On our last day we just sat on the couch watching the ocean all day. Such a wonderful, clean and quiet place. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. We wouldn’t change a single thing about it.

Place with a view
The house was on a cliff with gorgeous views of the ocean and beautiful rock formations. The one problem is there was very difficult access to the beach on top of rocks.

Great place to stay!
Wonderful views!! Secluded beach. Well stocked. Very clean. Comfortable furniture and beds. Older home with a mild old home smell. Nothing fancy or fussy but great for beach house! Great deck. On a bluff so yard is not super kid friendly. Access to the sand is slightly challenging and not ideal for elderly. Manzanita and Cannon Beach within short drive. Very fun experience!

Amazing
Staying at Cove Beach Cottage was truly an amazing, even magical experience. We agree heartily with the comments by other reviewers. The Cottage is secluded, quiet, spotless, comfortable, well-stocked, with a beautiful forest access. It has fantastic views of ocean waves and rocks through large sparkling windows and from the deck, easy access to a wide beautiful beach with few people, and the sounds of the Ocean day and night. It provides easy access to Oregon's North Coast attractions. For us, the most important thing was the peace and serenity one can experience in this place (and take home with you until your next visit) from being surrounded by and totally immersed in nature's beauty and abundance. Thank you Kathie and Jim!

Absolutely beautiful
Beautiful location! The house was very clean and stocked with everything you could need. Jim responded extremely quickly when answering questions. The beach was great and very secluded. The drive through the trees to get to the property was breathtaking. Restaurants and shopping in Cannon Beach is only about a 10 minute drive away. We travel a lot and this was probably the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed. We hope to come back again!

Relaxing weekend
We had a very calm and relaxing weekend enjoying the beautiful ocean view. Unfortunately, it was very cold and rainy so we didn't get to do much walking but it really didn't matter because we had such a good time reading and enjoying the view. Plus we had great breakfasts at Wanda's and nice dinners in Manzanita and Cannon Beach.

Magnificent View!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Cove Beach house! The 180 degree view of the ocean is magnificent, and the house was exceptionally clean and well supplied. It’s a short hike down the stairs and across the rocks to the sand, which isn’t accessible at high tides. Tight parking, but easy to access and not far from town. Hard to find a more comfortable spot on the Oregon coast!

DEEP PEACE
Outstanding, private views. The neighborhood has challenging hills to hike and the beach is beautiful. The only thing missing was a dishwasher, but otherwise the kitchen was well appointed. Beautiful public hiking trails and Cannon City are nearby. A wonderful property.

Just wow!
All I can say is that I will never look for another place to stay in the Cannon Beach area! This is the coziest spot we have ever stayed in and I guarantee you, you won’t find a better front seat view to the ocean. The feel and overall vibe was so perfect and relaxing. We will be back!

Short but sweet
We rented this house for a holiday trip. The house was as pictured on the website. Very clean, nicely furnished and a beautiful location. Sadly, we were unable to stay do to the massive storm the blew through the coast. The owner was very understanding and we will rebook this location at a later date.

Clean and relaxing family getaway!
Our first reaction to the cottage was how clean and organized everything was. We arrived at night and when we woke up in the morning the view was breathtaking! The large windows framed the ocean view perfectly! We never even left except to walk the beach at low-tide. The process was seamless from check-in to check out! Thank you Jim!

Excellent Stay!
The house and property was as described. Great location with amazing views! Easy access to the beach as well as hiking trails. The house was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked including basics for cooking (oils, spices, condiments). The layout is similar to a "shotgun" home where you have to walk through two of the rooms to access the main living area. Just something to be aware of if you have multiple couples that would require additional privacy.

Wonderful Beachfront Property!
My husband and I absolutely loved staying here for our anniversary! The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful with essentially private beach access that is so close to the house! It was so much fun to walk on the beach at low tide and view the sunset from the stunning property! All hours of the day had beautiful views! There’s a grill on the patio perfect for outdoor dining and a dining table on the patio to enjoy meals with the beautiful view. There’s roasting sticks provided for campfires and beach toys in the shed. The sunsets are unbeatable! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware and I loved that they even provided ketchup, mustard and relish for our hot dog roast! There is only a shower, no bathtub, that is the only thing I could see being problematic for some but it didn’t bother us. We loved it here and want to bring our whole family back next summer!!!

It’s amazing and we loved it!!!
It is the most amazing view! We went to the tide pools at low tide and saw amazing starfish and clams and we loved it all! The house was great, clean and had the best views! A wonderful porch and great supplies in the kitchen! And great owners that were so helpful!

Gorgeous, relaxing getaway
We had a great week on Cove Beach. The house is cozy and comfortable, but the view is not to be missed. We walked on the beach daily and typically we were the only ones! We stocked up at the Safeway in Seaside and enjoyed grilling on the deck and bonfires on the beach! The house is incredibly well stocked!

This property is exactly as listed but the pictures don’t do it justice. My husband and I brought my 95 year old mom with us as she wanted to see the ocean. We live in Montana She loved it!! We found easy access for her to the beach in other areas. But this was a wonderful relaxing place to watch the ocean. We will be back!! Thank you for having an amazing place to escape to!!!

Gorgeous waterfront property
We spent 6 days at this property in April 2022. The views of the water, the beach and the coastline are amazing! The house is well equipped and heated. There is a front yard and a patio/grill that one can use. The beach is a short walk away. The location/neighborhood is very quiet. There are a few grocery stores minutes away by car, as well as a few beaches where you can walk/run/play with the kids. Will definitelly consider this house again when we're back in the area!

Perfect escape!
What an excellent spot to escape! Even the rainy days were perfect with the huge windows over-looking the ocean. The views were amazing and the house was clean and very well-appointed. The gravel roads between 26 and the house were a little bumpy, but it was certianly manageable. Thanks for a great stay!

This home was the perfect place to relax with family and then by myself! The cottage is surprisingly spacious with two full bedrooms plus a room with bunk beds, and two baths, one full, one half. The view is spectacular! The house is perched above the ocean with an expansive view. View the ocean from the deck or in a comfy Adirondack chair on the lawn just above the ocean. High tide is spectacular, whether in the house or outside enjoying the view, you truly feel one with ocean. Very clean, modern and well stocked kitchen! The living room is very comfortable with very cool furniture. This space is well thought out and stunning. I booked my second stay while I was there!

Perfect Beach Front View Rain or Shine
A cozy wonderfully equipped clean beach front cottage in a secluded community close to Manzanita and Cannon Beach. 180 degree view. Beds nice / firm… could have used warmer covers. Seating was so comfortable for reading and watching waves, birds, surfers and whales (spouts) out of an expansive bank of windows. Kitchen had it all including expresso machine. Loved it!!!

Best 60th birthday setting!
This is an enchanting location! We’ve stayed oceanfront many times in Cannon Beach and Manzanita. They were lovely, but here we were cozily cocooned in Cove Beach and literally had the beach to ourselves. The older home is obviously lovingly cared for. Great attention was paid to detail, delighting us with quality, from Royal Doulton in the kitchen to thick, plush towels in the baths. The huge windows in the great room area provide breathtaking 200-degree views of the sea. It doesn’t get better than this! Thank you for a memorable getaway!

Incredible Ocean View
One of the most amazing ocean views you will ever experience. Due to the home’s location - right on the beach - and the brilliant remodeling choices made to put two window walls facing the ocean view both west and north, the water is basically in your lap, with ever changing skies, water patterns and beauty. If you love the ocean, this will be a unique experience you will treasure. The home itself, is well thought out, with a small but very functional kitchen, with the same attributes attributed to the bedrooms. Very functional, comfortable and a perfect escape.

Pacific coast getaway
Perfect setting to celebrate our anniversary! It was peaceful and comfortable with stunning ocean views. Lots of hiking trails near-by and just a short drive to Cannon Beach. Sunsets were priceless!
