“Great location. Elevator was not working more than it was working. Asked if I could give them my stamped postcards so the postcards could be put in with the regular hotel mail and was told, “not possible, we don’t do that” - and I am fluent in Portuguese. Have been to many countries and this was the first time I was told my stamped postcards couldn’t be included with normal hotel mail.”

“We loved our stay at Peneda ecofarm. It is well located for walks in the National Park and only an hours drive from Porto's airport. There are several natural river pools to swim in with in a 30 minute drive of the accomodation. Which we were directed to by the owners.
Our room was modern and fresh with a lovely balcony. The air conditioning was great for night time. The breakfast and evening meals were carefully prepared and delicious with fantastic local vino verde.

“From the moment we arrived, we felt and saw the wow factor. The hotel is beautiful, the bedrooms are large and the bathrooms are large as well. The breakfast was delicious with so many choices. Our dinner menu was excellent and the food was delicious. The wines were top notch, we absolutely loved all the wines on offer. Everything was perfect. Posizione super super. Colazione di buon livello. Disponibilità per colazioni veloci e light in caso di necessità di check out mattinieri, cosa unica!!! Ero stato qui circa 10 anni fa, stessa accoglienza e i prezzi erano ottimi, purtroppo ora in giugno sono aumentati molto.”

“Friendly attentive staff, top notch bartender and drinks, beautiful breakfast, excellent amenities and Massage. My one concern is the quality of the bed. The springs were felt through the mattress, and I had a very uncomfortable four night sleep with the strings sticking into my back.”

Nota menos positiva só mesmo o tempo no check-in, demorado a meu ver (com reserva efetuada), e o numero reduzido de espreguiçadeiras na zona da piscina, o que levou a alguns clientes terem de ficar na relva (solução menos ma), nas cadeiras das mesas de bar (retirando-as dessas mesmas mesas) ou no chao duro (bastante desconfortável)....
