La casa è stata progettata per prendere sotto l'aspetto completo del lago molto bello, tutte le camere, tranne per il 4 ° camera da letto hanno vista sul lago. Il Lodge ha un sacco di luce del sole a causa delle numerose finestre e anche molto arioso, ha una bella sensazione, una volta entrati si ottiene una sensazione molto calda e vivace per la casa.
Il Lodge è a schema libero, ampia zona soggiorno / pranzo.
Camera matrimoniale / bagno al piano superiore con vista sul lago con due ponti e un proiettati in veranda per pranzo.
Il piano inferiore composto da più di 4 camere e 2 bagni. Il secondo bedoom ha un bagno privato con i restanti 3 camere da letto che condividono il 3 ° bagno. Tutte le camere sono accoglienti ben arredate e 3 ° camera da letto ha 2 regine e un divano letto, questo fa una grande sala per i bambini che dormono 6. La camera da letto 5 è piccola e ha due letti singoli, ma è molto, molto accogliente e il nostro più giovane ama questa stanza, lavora ancora per gli adulti.

Attività, servizi e punti di interesse sul Lago di Coma

Camminare, correre, andare in bicicletta
Abbiamo molti bei sentieri intorno al lago e durante il nostro 18 acri, perfetto per una piacevole passeggiata o una mountain grave moto funzionato. Il sentiero Forgotten è un tunnel percorso oltre cresciuto che abbiamo scoperto per caso qualche anno fa, il divertimento di notte al buio.

Pesca, nuoto, canottaggio
Il nostro 3. 2 acri lago è stato originariamente costruito per un lodge di pesca ed è ben fornito con alcuni davvero grandi pesci, siete invitati a pescare il tuo cuore e abbiamo un pedalò e canoe a disposizione troppo.
Due banchine offrono un luogo ideale per rilassarsi in acqua e offre anche un facile accesso per i nuotatori.

Vasca idromassaggio, Fire Pit, Ponte Coperto

Abbiamo un 4 persone Caldera vasca idromassaggio si trova accanto alla casa e al piano inferiore che si affaccia sul lago. La vasca idromassaggio è particolarmente meraviglioso quando la temperatura scende in montagna.
Asheville ha un clima meraviglioso 4 stagioni e gode di molte belle giornate limpide e notti stellate. La vasca idromassaggio è stato il preferito da familiari e amici, quando i bambini nuotare nel lago raffreddare e poi saltare nella vasca idromassaggio.

Fire Pit
Abbiamo un grande pozzo del fuoco che ha legna da ardere.
La nostra casetta degli ospiti hanno goduto di numerose notti dal pozzo del fuoco ed è anche proprio sul lago.
Un'attività serata di divertimento per la famiglia, non dimenticate il marshmellows, se abbiamo qualche.

Ponte coperto
Abbiamo coperto ponte con un tavolo da picnic che si affaccia sul lago, un luogo ideale per rilassarsi o fare un picnic.

colpo di pollo
Abbiamo 2 polli e 16 Chicklets. Otteniamo un paio di uova dalle galline 2 e speriamo per più dalle Chicklets. Sei il benvenuto alle uova fresche!

The property is really lovely and our group enjoyed the lake and the privacy. Brett and his partner were great hosts and make sure we had everything we needed. It was exactly what we needed for a big group and we would definitely stay again. The airplane noise was a little loud, but eventually we got used to it and it really wasn’t a big deal. We caught lots of small fish in the pond and had a great time. Thanks again.

Wedding and family vacation

We were lucky enough to stay here this past week with our family from out of town. We were able to host my wedding and it was absolutely perfect. The kids were able to use the paddle boats and loved being able to fish everyday. We have already talked about booking for another family vacation next year! We’ve never stayed anywhere that provided anything and everything we could have needed! 10 out of 10!

A Family Thanksgiving

We chose this house to celebrate Thanksgiving with our children, their spouses and the grandchildren. We loved the open living space and the huge dining room table. The added bonus was seeing the goats and chickens! I will quote my 4 year old granddaughter: “I am so sad to leave because I loved it there and wanted to stay forever!”

Family Vacation

Great property, pond and animals were a big plus. Our grandkids (4 and 6) couldn't get enough of the goats! Two areas of improvement - house was super hot at night. Fans helped a little. The septic tank did back up a bit and Brett was very responsive (thanks!) - sorry to say but this could be a big investment to fix. Kitchen was well stocked - much appreciated as we did a lot of cooking! Second fridge downstairs is a great feature.

Mostly very good. House was clean and comfortable Everything worked well except most door latches needed repair Six of our ten people complained about the comfort of the bed The location was perfect except for jet noise from the airport. We really enjoyed the lake and dock and privacy afforded. We all agreed we would like to come back

Family getaway

We loved the house and the the owner and his wife were outstanding but the winner for the grandkids were the animals, especially the goats. Brett (owner) and his wife included our grandkids on the daily feedings and medicine and they absolutely loved it. The fresh eggs were a bonus! Great location being near Blue Ridge Parkway, Biltmore and easy drives to Black Mountain and Hendersonville. Plenty of room for our twelve.

Excellent Family Retreat

Really enjoyed this very unique property situated on a peaceful lake. We had 3 families with kids and there was so much to do (hiking, fishing, paddle boating, even feeding a variety of animals). Located centrally enough to easily get to a variety of locations around Asheville. We did a lot of cooking and kitchen was stocked and had a huge table for all of us to gather around. The owner is very nice and receptive to concerns; he even set up a Christmas tree for us as we were here over the holiday. Only minor complaint is house is a little dated downstairs with the heat only partially working which keeps it pretty chilly.

Perfect Family Retreat

The hosts at this property were the best. So responsive and helpful with anything we needed. They even went so far as to buy and install a baby gate for us upon our arrival! I highly recommend them! Thank you for making our family Thanksgiving great!

Wonderful family vacation retreat

Perfect house for our family of 12. We loved swimming in the lake and hanging out on the dock. Just 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. The house isn’t modern fancy but was super comfortable and clean. It has a great open living area with a well equipped kitchen for large groups. We loved the screened porch. Full disclosure - the house is on the direct flight path for the Asheville airport. Occasional planes taking off or landing low overhead - But did not impact our enjoyment. The hosts live nearby and were very responsive.

The annual family get together

We had our annual family get together here, we are from Kentucky, Virgina, and North Carolina. The home was great, the dining area was large enough for everyone, which was a welcome surprise. The home was clean and very well equipped with household items. The deck are was a great place to hang out in the evenings. The location was great close to Ashville, Cherokee, Maggie Valley and Lake Lure/Chimney Rock. The lake on the property was another great surprise, from the two paddle boats and two canoes. The kids and adults both enjoyed swimming and fishing the lake. The owners are onsite and were very welcoming and nice people. Bret and Rumi, thank you for your hospitality!!

Fishing

Are stay was great, we had a few kids with us that love fishing so the lake was wonderful, they fished everyday!! The animals were another big hit for them too. Everything we needed was in the house, it was clean and comfortable and we had many late game nights on the back porch, my sisters family also rented the little cabin which was in walking distance which was nice. The only negative i would have to say is the neighbor on the hill is not pleasent but its not the owners fault by any means, it didnt ruin our vacation! We would definitely rent this house again ❤️

Perfect Place to Relax and Enjoy Nature with Family

The lake view and grounds are beautiful. We all enjoyed feeding, petting and listening to the animals kept nearby. The home was spacious and updated and everything we’d hoped for. The kids loved swimming in the lake and riding in the paddle boats and canoes. All in all, the perfect place for gathering and enjoying our family!

Had a marvelous time. Great house. Perfect bedroom set ups for our family of 13. Lake and hot tub were in constant use. More chairs needed near lake for lounging, so we brought our own. Great kitchen and very large dining area which was so good for our large group.

A Sweet property to make memories with kids

Spacious home & gracious hosts who were immediately available to remedy issues with the heat & frig. The owner kindly left food for the kids to feed the animals, which they really enjoyed. Hiking around the pond was also a delight for all. Perfect length for toddlers & our 4 yr old. I definitely recommend adding more screening to completely cover the wooden floor entrance to the covered bridge area as we did have slips & falls on the slippery surface. Another safety suggestion would be to fill in the railing openings on the upstairs staircase. The trellis work was appreciated but not enough to assure safety to toddlers & young children. Providing a gate at the top of the stairs, that is secure but opens & closes for adults to access the bedrooms on the bottom floor is also recommended. Overall, an enchanting property'-relaxing in front of the fire place in the evenings was lovely. The kitchen was very well-equipped and plenty of space for our family. Definitely recommend this property! We stayed in December and we could imagine how much fun a spring, summer or fall stay could be!

Great place for family gathering

The open living, dining, kitchen area was perfect for our family gathering. The grandkids loved the paddle boat and fishing from the dock. Bret was very responsive to our questions and needs when we checked in. We’d love to come back.
