“What a gem! Alfonso, Marianna and their lovely Italian family and friends run this very special place. It is so much more than a small rural hotel, it is like staying with friends with a centre of excellence for food. It is peaceful despite its proximity to the airport. Yes you can hear planes at the pool but it isn’t loud or intrusive. The airport is shut overnight and take off and landings are not that frequent. The pool area is great and we tended to have a late afternoon swim and relax...

“On the arrival day nobody was there. We had to wait a long time and could not contact the owner. Another hotel with locals helped us. They managed to contact the owner otherwise we had to sleep in our car maybe. Afterwards the owner said he was in a meeting and forgot that we arrive today. Balcony is defect, rusty fridge….”
