“This property checks all the boxes for a great trip to Varenna and to explore Lake Como. It is in an ideal location, central to restaurants and shopping and close to the ferry docks. It was incredibly clean and well appointed with nice details, like coffee and basic herbs and spices and plenty of other amenities to make the stay comfortable. We spent hours sitting in the loft, taking in the view as well as exploring the town and other towns in the Lake Como are. Communication with the hosts...

“The stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. Most descriptions were adequate and we found what we expected. Some problems with the water supply were promptly repaired after we informed the owner (Thanks to him - overcoming some language barriers!). The only aspect which was less ideal was the description of the way to get there. The description could be improved as we arrived late in the dark and therefore pathfinding was a bit confusing. It should be mentioned that the streets are not paved at...

The view of the lake and the mountains beyond made the hot trek up the hill from Lenno worth it (and equally walking down the hill to Lenno brought us quickly to a lovely waterfront setting). “Ein schönes Haus, eigentlich eine Villa, mit umlaufendem Balkon und unverbautem Blick auf den Lago in den Hügeln über dem See. Die knackig steile Anfahrt lohnt sich und wird mit Idylle und Weitsicht belohnt. Die Lage ist prima für verschiedene Ausflüge und Aktivitäten. Die Kommunikation mit den freundlichen Vermietern war problemlos und hilfreich. Ein Objekt, das wir uns sicher merken und vielleicht zurückkehren...”

“Wunderbar eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Allerdings sollte sich ein Tischler um das Bett kümmern. Angenehm wäre auch, wenn es Insektengitter gegeben hätte. Die Mücken waren gnadenlos. Bei günstigeren Ferienwohnungen in Brissago waren sie vorhanden.”
