We stayed here for 4 nights in September. The property was clean, bright and comfortable and communication with the host was excellent. The location being a two minute walk to the beautiful Argyle shore provided hours of entertainment swimming, searching for shells, and exploring the tide pools. Proximity to Victoria by the Sea was perfect for close and delicious dining options. This was a peaceful and quiet spot with a beautiful view of the ocean, a perfect place to stay!

The cottage is in a very quiet area with a great beach nearby. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bed was super comfy. I also loved the movies on DVD. Everything about my stay was wonderful.

Leslie's cottage was the perfect location for our first vacation as a family of 3. My husband and I travelled with our 11 month old and we couldn't have had a better time. The cottage was a 2 minute walk to a beach only for residents of the area. She had beach towels, sand toys, and even water wings for older kids. Her collection of movies and board games made for some fun evenings. The cottage had a booster seat and pack n play for our little one. The cottage was 10-15 minutes from Victoria-by-the-Sea and about 30 minutes from popular tourist locations such as Cavendish and Charlottetown. Close enough for day trips but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Leslie's communication was impeccable and her binder for local favourites was a great added touch. Would recommend this place to anyone!

The property was clean, fresh and in a great location! Lots of towels (greatly appreciated), laundry facilities and comfy beds! The hosts were super responsive and the place had everything you needed for stay. Highly recommended!

This was a great location for us to explore. The beach& tides were super cool. The house was clean & suited all our needs. The neighbors were friendly and despite close proximity, it felt private, especially lounging on the deck looking out to the sea!

Sandy Sandals Cottage is Fantastic

The house was perfect for us, clean, comfortable and the perfect size. The beach access was easy to get to, and the outside deck has an amazing view of the water. The property owners were amazing and cannot recommend this property enough. It is only 30 minutes from Charlottetown, and a short drive away from Victoria by the Sea which is an awesome little village with some great shops and great restaurants. The other thing i have to mention is how amazing and friendly all of the people we met on Prince Edward Island were. Just a fantastic vacation all around.

Great location and an enjoyable stay.

Our host kept us updated us before our arrival with instructions on accessing the beach, tide times, etc. Lovely little community, easily accessed from Charlottetown. Having the washer and dryer was much appreciated after several days travel!

Argyle Beach House

The cottage was well laid out and we needed for nothing. Although the facilities were were older than we expected, they were well appointed and clean. We did walk the beach one afternoon and it was nice. From the listing, we got the idea the cottage would have been closer to the beach with a wide open look at the Straights. Unfortunately, the cottage was set back a block and a half from the beach. The location was perfect for day in Charlottetown or the western side of the island. It would be quite remote if your interests were more of the east side of PEI. The owner was polite, communicated well and stayed in touch with us and was very helpful. We definitely appreciated that. All in all, it was good value. it would even be better if your first interest is the beach.

Everything we needed!

It was a perfect and central location on the island, short walk to the beach, and a perfect cottage that had everything we could need! Leslie was a great host, answering every question we had!! Would definitely come back!

Nice little spot.

Nice little spot just a minute walk from the ocean where you can collect shells, admire the low tide and walk the ocean floor. Very cool. Clean. We found the bathroom a little tight and it didn't have a vent fan (if that's important to you haha), but it wouldn't stop us from booking again :)

Picturesque in PEI

Beautiful property. Great communication from Leslie leading up to and during the stay to make sure we had everything we needed. They prepared a lovely binder that had all of their favorite things to do in the area, as well as instructions on what to do upon departure. Would stay there again!

Great place to relax

I came to PEI to explore and connect with the L.M. Montgomery history. But, I fell in love with the relaxing scenery of the island. This cottage was a great place to do just that. The historical and tourist locations were close enough to drive. Then we could come back to the cottage and nearby beach to relax and just enjoy the atmosphere. Fabulous!
