“This is a very nice Ryokan in Arima. The hotel is located on top of a small hill, making it isolated from the town center. This makes the area surrounding the hotel very quiet, and perfect for relaxing. The ryokan has 2 onsen baths (1 indoor, and 1 outdoor) open all night. It was really amazing bathing in the outdoor onsen at night, where you can gaze the surrounding forest quietly. I definitely recommend this ryokan!”

“We visited Arima Onsen in Golden Week (by accident!). So both hotel and the town itself were super busy. We were probably the only ‘westerners’ in the hotel. This is v much a Japanese hotel. Only a handful of the signs were in English and none of the staff could speak any English. Breakfast was a feast for the Japanese and rather pathetic excuse for a breakfast if you didn’t want to eat fish and other traditional Japanese breakfast foods. “初めてホステルというのに泊まってみました。
お風呂は徒歩すぐの所にあるし、共有トイレも洗面台もキレイだし、部屋も清潔。部屋にある小型の冷蔵庫の音が大きいので、そこだけ気になりましたが、他は特に問題なく快適に過ごせました。
朝ごはん付きのプランにしましたが、美味しく健康的な内容の料理で満足でした。”
