“Great stay ”

“I loved the experience. The staff very helpful specially lakshay at front desk. He allowed us to do early check in because they had the room available. I liked the food we ordered. The location of the hotel is fantastic. It’s in main Shimla. Few steps away from Oberoi Cecil. We took the room with valley view and really enjoyed the stay. I love the architecture of the property. The way it’s built is cute and impressive. ”

“Bedsheets had holes, Hotel is very down and we need to go down a steep passage to reach hotel. 25 minutes from Shimla Railway Station. 15 Minutes from Mall Road.”

“Fantastic location but very difficult to find as Hotels.com reported it as being in Shimla, rather than the reality of being 20km distant. Also not so impressed after difficult 16 hour journey from Delhi (holiday traffic and minor landslips following monsoon rain) to be told at midnight by reception that there was no booking. Strength of following 'discussion' eventually proved we did indeed have a booking. Rooms and hotel facilities very tired now when once must have been special. But still...

“Booked the better range of rooms (Super Deluxe) in this mountain resort hotel. Upon arrival, discovered it is a budget hotel. Staff showed us to a room with a view of - a wall. When we protested, he showed us to a room in what was the lowest level, but with a decent view. Breakfast commenced at 0830 (sunrise is at 0530). It was included, so we waited.
