“Best part: Breakfast and the views. Communication and follow through were not what I was hoping for. We reported fire ants being at the door on the first night. Received an email saying they would have a service person address it. Next morning the ants made their way into the room. I notified staff the next morning, in person, and was assured it was taken care of. We had ants the entire time, which because more and more of a problem, as one might expect. Additionally, we paid $300 at the Inn...

“Good location for a quiet place. This is an okay summer stop. No AC on a hot June day was hard as well as it was very buggy inside the windowsills. I realize it is more of a rustic, true Vermont lodge idea just wanted people to be aware. I am sure in the fall and winter when it is busier it is a completely different location.”

“THE NUTMEG LIVED UP TO WHAT WE WERE EXPECTING. THE ONLY COMPLAINT WAS CLIMBING UP TO THE UPSTAIRS WAS DIFFICULT...BUT BECAUSE THE BUILDING WAS VERY OLD...NOTHING CAN BE DONE TO CORRECT THIS ISSUE. BUT WE SURVIVED IT!”
