High Trees Haven~EV Charging Plug, Sauna, Heat & A/C!

Welcome to High Trees Haven! Nestled among the trees at the end of a serene cul-de-sac, High Trees Haven is a stunning, immersive retreat in the heart of the Sierras. The living area boasts stunning pine ceilings and a wall of windows looking out to the forest, creating a unique & serene experience. With a wood stove for additional ambience, the cabin comfortably accommodates 8 guests.

Sip a cup of coffee while looking out at the trees into the forested setting and while enjoying your favorite music being played through the surround sound system. Take a nap on the log bed in the master bedroom while enjoying the tree-top views, and then enjoy a spa-like experience in the master bathroom.

High Trees Haven is the perfect retreat for relaxation or to fulfill all your outdoor adventure desires.

Access Information: You will receive check-in instructions, including your access code for entry, 2-4 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. Please be sure to check your junk/spam email, as sometimes these instructions end up there.

Pet Policy: This cabin is not pet friendly - If a pet is brought to a non-pet friendly cabin, there will be a $1,000 fee charged to card on file.

Audio/visual cameras are on site (exterior only).

Tenant must be at least 25 years old to rent.

Communication: Property management will contact tenant by their preferred method of communication (personal email, text, etc.) to send a required rental agreement, check-in instructions, etc.

Payment (where applicable): A 2% surcharge (of the total transaction amount) will be added to your transaction charges when your credit card is charged. Upon booking, $300, plus the c/c fee, is due immediately and is charged to the credit card on file. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival (if you are booking a stay that is sooner than 30 days from the booking date, the full amount is due immediately & will be charged to your card on file). We will accept payment by check for the final payment, as long as your arrival date is further out than 45 days. If you wish to pay by check, please email our office immediately to advise us NOT to charge your card on file for the final payment. Please note that if your check is not received by the 30 day mark, your credit card on file will be charged, regardless of previous arrangement. All payments are due in full 30 days prior to your arrival.

Family getaway to the snow

We arrived in a snowstorm and had quite an adventure trying to get to the cabin (which made the scenery outside absolutely breathtaking when we woke up in the morning). We found the cabin clean and warm, with a little gift basket of snacks, and all the information we needed about the Wifi, game system and TV, surrounding amenities, and emergency contacts right on the counter. The host was very responsive when I had questions upon our arrival. The kids had an absolute blast playing the little arcade games in the downstairs room, and we had a family movie night there too. The next day we played all around the cabin in the snow. It felt very secluded and peaceful. Overall we had a really wonderful time and would recommend this place to anyone.

Christmas 2024

The cabin was wonderful! All of the amenities mentioned in the listings were right on point. This is not only a great winter get away, I imagine it would be just as wonderful in the summer/spring. Love the location and the home wouldn’t mind coming back.

Nice property

We enjoyed our stay at High Trees. The kitchen was spacious enough to work in together. The big dining table was great for meals and games. We stayed there during a heat wave, so the upstairs was rather warm. Once we got the two fans (no ceiling fans upstairs) figured out, it was better up there. Our only “complaint” would be the outside deck. It was a bit of a mess on arrival and the only table was a small round one with seating for 4. We like to eat our meals outside when staying in the mountains and it wasn’t feasible with the set up they have. BUT, we loved the neighborhood and the privacy. We had a fun stay!

50th Wedding Anniversary Family Time

This property was perfect in every way-clean, serene location, beautiful home with many extra amenities which makes it an enjoyable family stay-downstairs game room which kids enjoyed, lots of room to explore outside, lots of room for our family to gather inside and on the deck which has an awesome view! We would love to come back!!

Family Wedding at Lake Alpine

Our family stayed at this lovely location for a four day destination wedding at Lake Alpine. The High Trees Haven was perfect for our group of six adults, providing everything we needed for our stay. It was clean and check-in was easy...they even allowed us to check in early so we could drop our stuff off and go to the venue to help set up. The weather was perfect and we spent a lot of time out on the back deck. One of the great things about this location is that you really don't see neighbors (although we could hear them) and it feels very private. We cooked a couple of meals and used the BBQ. Everything you need is provided including a well stocked pantry with spices, etc. Loved our time here!

We all enjoyed this property

The home was very clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The beds were comfy as well. We didn’t spend anytime in the game room downstairs but did enjoy the chess nook and the foosball nook. The kitchen is well stocked. A great place in Camp Connell.

Everything you need

Great property to hang out with family. Plenty of dishes, towels, bedding and comfy corners all throughout the house. Plenty of activities for the kids in the basement and the top floor. A bit to cold to hang out in the garage but the ping pong table was used. I only have 2 negatives: 1 - could be cleaner some areas were in need of a dusting, found socks in a cabinet and lost of crumbs in the kitchen cabinets. 2 - check out time is really early. I am typically used to a 11am/12pm check. 10am was too early for us. Other than that it was great. Will definitely consider booking again in the future.

Beautiful home

This is a beautiful home in a quiet location surrounded by nature. We enjoyed visiting the nearby attractions as well as just enjoying the beauty of the home itself. It’s as described including a well stocked kitchen and fun games to play. Highly recommend

Mountain Retreat

We had a lot of fun during our stay. The cabin was beautiful and exactly as described. My three boys loved all the games. There was plenty of space to relax and we enjoyed the views. The recreation center was really great too. We played tennis, basketball, air hockey and ping pong. The pool was fun and my boys loved playing inner tube water polo. They also had other activities as well. Highly recommend.

Family trip to the snow

We had a wonderful time. The place was beautiful and we loved watching the falling snow through the large windows, then taking our young kids to play in the snow right outside. We got snowed in and everyone was very helpful and accommodating to help us get out on our day of departure. Highly recommended!

Unforgettable Winter Vacation

I can’t imagine a better place to be snowed in at! My sister and I rented this place to treat my dad while he was visiting from Michigan. Her husband and daughter joined us as well. The house was absolutely 5 stars. The amenities were top notch. The kitchen was stocked with every dish and cooking utensils you need. Additionally the pantry was well stocked with basic items. Due to the snow storm we weren’t able to leave, so it was great having such a well functioning kitchen. The bedrooms are so comfortable and there is an abundance of nice towels available. We also really enjoyed the sauna at the end of the night after our playing in the snow. The house has many things to do. I even learned to play chess. The house has a great lay out and it was absolutely breathtaking looking out at the snow covered trees. The owner was very responsive and helpful. It was a great space for our family vacation and we will never forget this magical winter wonderland!

A white Christmas

This cabin was a dream come true! It truly had everything you could ask for in a vacation getaway. For starters, the property is beautiful, well designed and user friendly with enough space to accommodate a large family if needed. The living room is highlighted with windows that give a panoramic view of the forest, which was awesome to see the snow covered trees and enchanted surroundings. The kitchen was clean and stocked with all the cooking ware necessary to cook a nice dinner. The master bedroom was very comfortable, the bed soft and enough closet space for my wife’s wardrobe. The bathroom had a bathtub with jets and a sauna that we couldn’t get enough of. Best of all, our kids enjoyed the stay, particularly the home theater system and Xbox downstairs. Overall, this was the best cabin experience we’ve had yet!
