Ein tolles Haus. Vor zehn Jahren schon einmal dort gewesen. Leider wurde zwischenzeitlich der Parkplatz vor dem Museum gewandelt. Eine etwas bessere Parkmöglichkeit hätte den Gesamteindruck noch verbessert. Hervorzuheben ist das angeschlossene Restaurant. Hier gibt es die besten Miesmuscheln! Auch das Sorbet Pomme ist sehr zu empfehlen! Ruhig wird es im Ort, wenn die Tagestouristen abgereist sind. Den 5. Stern gibt es, wenn eine bessere Lösung für die Parkplatzsituation gefunden wird.

Property was great. As Americans we couldn’t get coffee until 8 in the morning and this is an unbreakable rule. If your not going to offer morning coffee perhaps put coffee in the rooms for early risers.

Établissement pas digne d’un 3 étoiles sauf le prix. Salle de bain petite, bac de douche glissant, absence de plateau bouillotte dans la chambre, mobilier sommaire, mais belle vue sur la mer.

Un hôtel familial et plein de charme !
Un hôtel de charme avec une vue incroyable sur la mer. La localisation est parfaite pour rayonner vers les plages du débarquement. Le service est chaleureux avec un personnel au petit soin. L'hôtel est globalement bien entretenu, les chambres sont propres et pleines de charme même si les salles de bains sont un peu basiques. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est excellent.

Bad Odors in Hotel
The location is absolutely amazing, right there in the midst of WWII history. Hotel is nice and quaint, very good ambience. BUT, there were horrible odors— one in the room seemed to be sewage related; the other was possibly from the seafood being prepared in the restaurant below. Both permeated so much that even when I got back to Paris I could smell it. I’m not exaggerating. If they could take care of that, I think it would have been a much more pleasant stay.

This Hotel has a great location, but is badly in need of renovation. The restaurant was super expensive and food was only very average. Breakfast was very poor with no cooked food on offer. Again for the high prices and actually yesterday a very rude waitress who did not ask only demanded that we moved place to sit on a table for three rather than 4. There was nobody to greet us on arrival at the breakfast place so how could we know? Pity..

We can just inform that all our products are 100% fresh and local ! We know our productors for years and we are sure of the quality of all our fishes and meats. You are right that this quality has a price a bit higher may be than other places selling defrost dishes. People are free to reserve in our restaurant as the prices are displayed. A place of history, Hotel De La Marine
You can not find a better place to stay in Arromarche than Hotel De La Marine! This is located in the middle of the historic World War II "beaches''. Arromarche is in a very important location and the beach has equal importance to UTAH, Omaha, Juno etc, beaches but is not as well known. The hotel is literally "ON THE BEACH". It has been remodeled nicely w/updated decor and comfortable furnishings. Very kind, friendly,helpful staff who speak English very well The award winning restrant has a huge wall of windows opening the sea to an unobstructed view! If you are looking for a place to stay while in Normandie visiting the WW II Memorials, Hotel de la Marine is it! We loved it, and so will you! Dan and Minette, Iowa City

Great location for D-Day sites
Great location on sea front. Room was very small but clean. Bed was comfortable but only a double. No room comforts such as fridge, kettle or even bottled water. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel is immediately adjacent to the beach
Hotel is fine for a short stay of 3 days or less. Drinks very expensive though and facilities in room rather sparce. Parking can be a problem as hotel has no direct parking. However, helpful receptionist gave us tips on parking locally, and we overcame any problems.

Mycket trevligt gammaldags hotell. Frukost var i minsta laget, inte mycket att välja på. Rummet helt ok, men badrummet var mycket litet, rostiga element. Behöver fräschas upp lite.

Hotel très bien situé, chambre avec vue sur mer bien que petite. L'accueil de l'hôtel est correct mais le petit déjeuner laissé à désirer (pas de choix, le café et le thé sont servis dans des thermos à poussoir => difficile pour personnes âgés)

Nous proposons un petit déjeuner incluant baguette traditionnelle, baguette Tradition, pain grillé, pain de mie toasté, croissants, céréales (2 sortes), compote de pomme, fromage blanc d'Isigny (un must régional), une corbeille de fruits, du fromage Normand, des confitures (4 sortes), des jus de fruits (4 sortes), du jambon blanc, du jambon fumé..etc. Il est généralement apprécié, nous sommes sincèrement désolés que cela n'ait pas été votre cas. Quant à l'utilisation des thermos, nous veillerons à ce que le personnel de service des petits déjeuners soit vigilant pour aider les personnes qui rencontrent des difficultés.
