“To be fair the room itself was clean and had decent coffee. However there was mold around the caulk surrounding the bathtub. The bathroom was MAYBE 10 sq feet. Cold water disappeared in the middle of the shower causing extremely hot water to burn while yeting to get it turned off. The bed sagged in the middle. Loud road noise made sleeping very hard. “The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel appeared clean and the Continental breakfast bar was good. It is helpful to know that this is a pet friendly hotel and pets are allowed in any of the rooms on any floors although the front desk attendant said they put pets on the first floor as much as possible. If you are very sensitive to pet dander this could be an issue anywhere in the hotel.”

“This is a beautiful historic property that is extremely well maintained and inviting. Our host was very knowledgeable about its history and she was so friendly and helpful! Breakfast was delicious with so many options, prepared and served by our host in a relaxed and friendly manner. We stayed in the Happy Trails Room and the bed was quite comfortable.
