Casita Luminosa Roof Top Deck Los Altos Clubhouse indoor pool -tennis court

Arroyo Seco - Los Altos - Half way between Village of Taos, New Mexico and Taos Ski Valley - 8 miles in either direction

Casita Luminosa (Guest House for Casa Luminosa) is a light and bright studio with Kitchen, generous 3/4 bathroom with walk in glass shower, sitting area with a DVD television and lovely south mountain view from the "Portal" ("Spanish" for outdoor covered porch) and roof top deck with awesome 360 degree views.

Guests have year round access to the Los Altos Club House, Indoor swimming pool and Tennis Court

Guest House can be rented separately for last minute bookings. Advanced reservations have priority to book Casita Luminosa with Casa Luminosa (the main house).

When main house is not rented, Casita Luminosa guests may enjoy use of the hot tub.

Nice rooftop deck; quiet neighborhood; close to town, ski area, and hiking trails; beautiful sunsets from porch or rooftop deck King bed and sofa sleeper aren't comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if our travels brought us back to this area.

Good location for Ski valley and Taos

Booked for a ski trip to Taos Ski Valley. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the mountain and town. There are other great restaurants even closer. Property covers the basics and was nice to stay in.

Not many negatives but, The landline phone service was not working (cell phone a must)and being that I brought my laptop and tablet I was disappointed that the wifi signal was too weak to use them to go online, an iron available would also been helpful. The bed consists of two twin beds pushed together with no box springs. Quite uncomfortable. Would probably be OK for kids to sleep on but not adults. This property would be perfect if it had a comfortable queen or king size bed. Great views, great location, beautiful interior. Even enjoyed the prairie dogs!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great and the decorating and overall house was delightful. There are a few adjustments that need to be made and it would be ideal and I would be excited to recommend this property. The clubhouse (which we were excited about) had an issue with the pool heater so the pool was too cold to use. The property had a big house and a small house. If people were showering in the big house, the shower in the little house did not have enough pressure. So we missed showers. The toilet stopper needs to be adjusted since it would run until we jiggled it, very annoying in the middle of the night. The pans in the kitchen could use some updating. The teflon was flaking off and I don't think that is safe to get in your food. While I know I listed a few items, we did like the place.
