“I had a room facing the street and it was very noisy throughout the night. Trucks will drive by dogs were barking and there is a LED orange light that stays on also throughout the night and you can’t turn it off.”

“Great choice to stay in Stepantsminda. The hotel is walking distance to the main town if you want to eat there. Yet, food at the hotel is spectacular!! I had both breakfast and dinner, and they were both amazing. Staff is super friendly; they made my stay very enjoyable. Lastly, the view!! It is really, really nice.”

She replied to all our questions really quickly, gave us great tips on hiking trails, and even helped us book a taxi with a local Georgian driver who didn’t speak English. Room service was top notch, just one call and they are at your door. They provided free pick/drop service to the ski lifts. Good breakfast. We even rented our ski gear for half the price here. ”

“We had a great stay at 1740. It's a very homely and cosy hotel (good for the cold weather!). The staff were friendly, and we enjoyed talking to the woman on the front desk. Our only suggestion would be to reduce the size of the breakfast. The food was good, but we were only able to eat about a quarter of it. ”
