“Beautiful two bedroom apartment in an old house with private entrance and outdoor dining patio. Perfect for a couple or small family as there is only one bathroom. Gorgeous gardens and flowers with private gated parking. Very close drive to wineries or tasting rooms as well as area Chateaus and villages. No food onsite but Grocery store within 3 kilometers for use in the full kitchen. Bottle of local wine was a nice Welcome gift. Owners/managers couldn’t be nicer. Great base for Chinon area...

“Ottima guest house per vivere lo spirito della zona in paesino tranquillissimo. Antica casa molto tipica della zona. La signora che riceve è gentilissima, pronta a soddisfare ogni richiesta. La camera grandissima e bagno moderno, oltre gli standard nel contesto, forse una spolverata in più sarebbe servita, per il resto molto pulita. Colazione ottima e abbondante. Il pernottamento non è a buon mercato ma vale quello che costa. Lo consiglio.”

“Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise.”

The house is sorrounded by a beatiful garden where you can relax or simply take a swim in the swimming pool. There is also a river crossing the property that you can navigate with a small boat.
