A comfortable guesthouse in a historic building, complete with a pool, in the heart of an Armagnac-producing estate at the border of the Landes, Gers, and Lot-et-Garonne regions. The Domaine d’Ognoas is a wine estate specializing in Armagnac production. Spanning several hectares, you’ll discover unique expertise and the secrets of distillation, and you can also taste our finest vintages. Here, you’ll enjoy a vast natural setting among vineyards, hillsides, and fields, with hiking and biking trails to explore the inland Landes in a whole new way. At the border of the Landes, Gers, and Lot-et-Garonne departments, this region is steeped in history, with bastides, castles, and other monuments to visit. At the entrance to the estate, the Pouylabrin property welcomes you to a fully renovated former farmhouse divided into three adjoining vacation rentals that can accommodate 10 people when all three are rented together. You’ll be charmed by the building’s historic character and the quality of the renovation, which combines original architectural features with high-end amenities. This blend creates a unique setting for a vacation off the beaten path or for a wellness retreat near the Barbotan thermal baths. On-site, the pool (8 m x 4 m, 1.40 m deep) is shared by all three cottages. Secured by a fence, it is open from June through September, weather permitting. Sun loungers are available. You’ll have access to a terrace with a table and chairs. Pouylabrin 1 is a cottage designed for 2 people. Adjacent to a second cottage, it features a private entrance. Built on one level, it includes: - a living area with a living room (TV, Wi-Fi, wood-burning stove), dining room, and open-concept fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, freezer, sink, induction cooktop, combination microwave-oven, dishwasher) - one bedroom: 1 bed (160x200) - a bathroom with a walk-in shower - a separate toilet - a laundry room with a washer-dryer combo. For your convenience, bed linens, bath towels, housekeeping, and water and electricity usage are included. Baby gear is available upon request.
