Centrally located at the entrance to Aschau im Chiemgau, right next to the Orthopedic Children’s Clinic, we warmly welcome you to our fully operational farm, the Daurerhof. Enjoy a relaxing and pleasant vacation in one of our guest rooms or our cozy vacation apartment on our well-maintained farm in beautiful Aschau im Chiemgau in Upper Bavaria. It’s an ideal starting point for bike rides and hikes—for example, to enjoy a snack at the Maisalm, where our young cattle spend the summer. Our fully operational farm is child-friendly and home to many animals, including cats, chickens, cows, and calves. The large playground offers plenty of fun with lots of play equipment for children, such as a wooden playhouse with a slide, a swing, a trampoline, a soccer goal, a children’s wading pool, and more—a little paradise for kids right on the farm. Parking is available right next to the house.
This cozy vacation rental can accommodate up to 4 people. The separate bedroom is equipped with a double bed (200 × 200 cm), a sleeper sofa, and a TV. The living and dining area features a cozy corner bench that seats up to 6 people, as well as a fully equipped kitchenette. Amenities include dishes, silverware, cookware, dish soap, pot scrubbers, and dish towels. Also available are a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a stove with an oven, an electric kettle, a toaster, and a coffee maker. Cleaning supplies are also provided. A large, comfortable couch invites you to relax and watch TV. For entertainment, there is a flat-screen cable TV and free Wi-Fi. Internet access is available via both Wi-Fi and cable. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, and hair dryer. The windows have curtains and roller shutters. The bedroom has carpeted floors. You can access the vacation rental through a separate entrance on the side of the farmhouse. Although it does not have a balcony, you can use the large lawn with an orchard as well as the garden shed with barbecue facilities right next to the house.
In 5 minutes on foot, you can reach the town center with its restaurants, shops, train station, and bus stop, or head to the Aschau swimming area or the very peaceful moor swimming area. There are many sights and attractions to visit, such as Hohenaschau Castle, the Kampenwand Cable Car, Lake Chiemsee with its islands and Herrenchiemsee Castle, and many other excursion options in the Chiemgau region.
Room and Breakfast Info: We do not offer breakfast, but our two guest rooms are fully equipped so you can comfortably prepare your own meals. The following are provided: A table and chairs, a coffee maker, a toaster, a kettle, dishes, and dishwashing utensils. In the hallway outside the rooms, you’ll also find a refrigerator and a microwave, which you can share with guests staying in another double room. Vacation Apartment: Our vacation apartment is fully equipped for self-catering.
