Sarah greeted us when we arrived and was so lovely. She is a wonderful staff member! The house is lovely. Like all old houses, it has some eccentricities, but we dealt with them pretty well. Some things that were less enjoyable included the fact that the Wifi signal to Oak Terrace (our room) was abysmal. We were not able to reliably connect at all, and it also impacted our ability to watch Netflix. This was disappointing. Two other negatives included the fact that it was extraordinarily humid in the room. It just didn't seem to dry out after we showered, and we kept the bathroom vent running nonstop in attempt to do exactly that. Finally, the shower and toilet were on a step up, and the showerhead was difficult to reach due to the way the tub was placed in the area. If someone has mobility issues, this would not be a room I recommend, which is unfortunate given the fact that it is on the back of the house and has no steps going up to it.
So as far as staffing goes, it is lovely. I think if they can address the moisture issue and get a reliable Wifi connection, it would be a much better experience.
