Cedar Mountain Lodge è la fuga romantica perfetta. Immaginati in questa capanna di tronchi intagliati a mano circondata da autentici decori indiani e oggetti d'antiquariato d'epoca Smokey Mountain. Costruito nel 1921 e completamente rinnovato nel 2013, siamo stati in grado di ripristinare la lucentezza originale delle pareti di tronchi tagliati a mano e del camino in pietra, e quindi abbiamo aggiunto alcune comodità moderne. La nuova cucina completamente fornita dispone di armadi in noce e elettrodomestici aggiornati. Goditi i barbecue romantici sul nuovo ponte o rilassati sotto le stelle nella tua vasca idromassaggio privata. Il magnifico Aspen Log Bed è un'esperienza da fare almeno una volta nella vita. Ma, se devi assolutamente portare i bambini, c'è un divano letto Aspen e un rotelle completo di materassi in memory foam. Il cortile recintato di 6 piedi fornirà un rifugio sicuro anche ai vostri animali domestici. NOTA BENE: è prevista una commissione per animali domestici pari a $ 75.

Non trascorrere l'intera vacanza guidando avanti e indietro per Asheville. Il Cedar Mountain Lodge si trova a 7 miglia dal centro di Asheville e dalle famose proprietà di Biltmore. A soli 3 miglia dalla Blue Ridge Parkway, questa storica baita è abbastanza vicina per godersi escursioni a piedi o a cavallo durante il giorno e tutto ciò che la città ha da offrire di notte.

Quaint and in good repair

Bedding very comfortable, good kitchen, hot tub could use stairs to enter, but in all fairness I am Short! Lot is wooded and private even being close to the road. Would stay again!

Weekend in Asheville

Nice property, and not call it was the deck outside the back door was weak and slightly compromised. I would suggest fixing the gutter above that area, as it’s likely that the crease in the gutter is causing rain overflow to pond water, which is causing the deck boards to rot.

Nice Stay But Could Use Some Improvements

The cabin is very clean as stated, and I cannot fault the owner for anything as she was very communicative and helpful. That said, there are a few things the cabin needs to be a bit more comfortable. There are lots of windows, which is great for viewing the outdoors, but there is no light blocking as the shades are very thin and light. Black out curtains are needed. Speaking of the view, there really isn't much. The cabin is right up next to the road in a neighborhood and there is no real privacy. Not even on the deck with the hot tub. The only thing blocking the view from the road is a lattice screen, offering not much of an obstruction. There is no real comfortable private place to sit outside. No yard or property to walk around and you certainly can't take a walk from the cabin as it's right on the road as stated before. The space is one big open space and the bed, while it looks cool, it's not easy to get in and out of if you have any mobility issues. You have to hop over the log frame to get into the bed. The daybed sags to the middle and could do with a new mattress. As I said, the owner is very nice and helpful, but the space leaves much to be desired if you are looking for a secluded retreat with more privacy.

Great cabin outside downtown Asheville

Really cute cabin and only 10-15 drive into downtown Asheville. Bathroom is small but the cabin has everything else you need. We loved the gas fireplace, hot tub and the kitchen essentials. Thank you!

Weekend Getaway

My friend and I came for a weekend getaway. We had a great time and the cabin is very close to downtown Asheville. Super cute and well equipped place. Clean for the most part, could use some dusting. There was a handful of cobwebs. But other than that we would stay again.

Great website, cute cabin, sparse kitchen tools, bathroom tired (towel had holes!) blinds broken; location was right on busy road, no privacy, loud street noise; no comfortable private outdoor space. living room seating uncomfortable, no good reading light. would not recommend.

Great stay.

Came to Asheville to attend a wedding and stayed here as it was close to venue. Very relaxing and we loved the turkeys that paraded each morning back and forth in front. We enjoyed our time.

Not what was expected

The cabin was cute and wll decorated; however The porch was small and taken aost completely by the hot tub and grill. Also, you could smell the dog poop from the little back yard. We didn't enjoy the outdoors of this cabin. It is right off a busy road and we had to buy blackout curtains to cover the windows so we could sleep. The cabin needed to be cleaned better

My hubby, our do Teddy and I loved our stay @ this 1921 log cabin! We even had a bear visit our front porch the morning we were leaving!

Cute and convenient

The cabin has a fully fenced backyard for the dogs that’s accessible by a side gate which is very helpful. The hot water for the shower/sink comes quickly and lasts which is great. Very close to downtown and Biltmore.

Nice cabin

We had a nice stay in Asheville. The cabin was convenient to restaurants, trails and the Biltmore. The yard was smaller than expected for our dog and the cabin sat pretty close to the road. Overall, we had a nice stay.

Perfect Spot for a Great Getaway

The cabin was cute and just as listed. It had all we needed for our stay and the hot tub was great at the end of the day. We were less than 10 mins to Downtown Asheville and about 20 mins to Chimney Rock. Owner was responsive and easy to communicate with. We would recommend and stay again!

20th anniversary trip

Was a good experience, never been to Asheville before now. Cabin is in a good location near Asheville. Easy to get to Black Mountain and other areas as well. Saw turkeys and bears from the deck. Shower control head needs tightened up. Dust /cob webs on bathroom walls need removed. A little noisy at times from highway nearby. Bed mattress could be updated. Other than that everything was fine.

Great cabin!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin, it was very quaint and loved the studio-style of it. It was a quick 7 minute drive into downtown Asheville, close to everything. We loved that we were able to bring our dog, as well!
