Sei solo un miglio di distanza dal bellissimo lago di Lure con spiaggia, gite in barca e gite in barca, scivoli d'acqua, barche elettriche, kayak e noleggio paddle board oltre all'affascinante Lake Lure Flowering Bridge. Chimney Rock Hideaway in the Woods

We loved our stay in this perfect little cabin in the woods! It was tucked away nicely in the woods and only a 5min walk into the cute Chimney Rock Village. We had a great view of Chimney Rock and could see Hickory Falls also. It was the perfect retreat away from all the hustle and bustle and after a long day of hiking the state park. Super peaceful, I don’t think we ever saw any neighbors, just a mama bear and her 2 cubs climbing the tree outside our window. We loved how light, bright and airy the cabin is and how clean and well stocked it is. We will definitely be back!

Florida escape

Wonderful place to stay. Close to everything and the front porch was a delightful place to relax, read and watch the wildlife. The property had everything you could need for a relaxing week in the mountains. We highly recommend the area and this property.

Great spot in the mountains. Hope to be back again someday.

The home was very clean and cozy. Owners were very responsive to any questions we had. They have an awesome screened in porch that overlooks chimney rock which was where we spent most of our time. There are good food options close by and a ingles grocery store a short drive away. Lots of wildlife around the area as well. Saw a bobcat on day one and 3 bear cubs and an adult bear on day 2. Highlight of the trip for the kids. They have put together a binder with all sorts of useful local information which was very helpful. We took their suggestion and hiked Dupont National Forest trails - about an hour away. Breathtaking views and falls. Wish we would have stayed longer and we hope to be back again.

Loved It!!!

Great cabin, great view, great location! My husband, myself, daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren stayed for 4 nights. At first, I thought it might be a little small for us all, but it worked out well! We had a lovely time and especially enjoyed the screened in porch. The beds were really comfy, too!

Best vacation home we’ve ever stayed in!

We had a delightful visit to Chimney Rock and this home was the perfect retreat! It was the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in and the screened in porch was the highlight of our entire trip. We spent most of our time there enjoying the view without having to fight off the bugs! The owners have such a well-equipped and comfortable home. We will be back!

Wild weather and beautiful surroundings!

We had wild storms with hail! Had a tornado warning during the night and lost power! But we enjoyed the Burntshirt for drinks and saw Chihuly at Biltmore and climbed Chimney Rock! And we saw black bear! The house was perfect for 2 couples to enjoy mountain time together!

Lovely Place!!!

We totally enjoyed our stay here! The location could not be beat, the layout of the house was perfect and spacious. There were windows throughout, even ones high near the ceiling so great Mountain, woods views! Made the space bright and cheerful! Well stocked kitchen and bedrooms/bathrooms had plenty of room as well!

Best Cabin in CHIMNEY ROCK!

This was our 3rd consecutive stay at this specific cabin for our annual family vacation and we had an absolute blast. The cabin is spacious, well kept, clean, and inviting. These are phenomenal, and we will absolutely be staying again in the future.

Perfect For Us

We really enjoyed our stay at Lisa and Ivans place. It was very clean and comfortable. Lisa has her home set up great with pretty much everything you may need to enjoy your time in the Chimney Rock/Lake Lure area. It's just a short walk to the downtown attractions & the Chimney Rock State Park. We enjoyed morning coffee on the great screened in porch with a spectacular view of Chimney Rock!! It was exactly what we were looking. Thank you Lisa & Ivan for letting us stay in your home. We will definitely look to stay here again when we are in the area!! Scott & Laura

Very nice house that is close to all the activities

The property was exactly as advertised and everything was really nice. The view of Chimney Rock is outstanding and, even though the house is close to town, you feel like you are in the country. We appreciated the guidebook that was for the cabin as it had restaurant recommendations as well as other amenities and attractions. We had a very nice stay.

Amazing location! Very Clean Home!

Perfect!

The property was very clean, located in a quiet beautiful location with a stunning view of chimney rock. It is within walking distance of the Main Street. I would absolutely recommend to anyone who likes peace and tranquility while being close to chimney rock for hiking and activities at lake lure.

Perfect for a getaway with an excellent screened-in front porch

Great 2 bedroom small house. Kitchen has very nice appliances and is stocked with dishes, mugs, silverware, pots, towels, large knives, etc. New screened-in front porch with a covered roof was great -- spent a lot of time there reading.

Great cabin/ house in the middle of downtown

My parents and I loved our stay at this little house. It is right across the street from chimney rock state park. You can see the rock from the front porch. And you can hear the river from the porch too. The house is on a great little lot, it feels very private even though there's a couple houses down below. The house is very clean and looks and feels new. Everything worked great. Communicating with Lisa was very easy. I would definitely love to stay here again.

A Cozy, Budget Friendly Mountain Retreat!
