I wish I had a better review to share since the loft is well kept. However, we ran into an issue and the owner was unwilling to assist. We arrived early & tried to get in touch with the property manager. She didn't respond nor return the call.We were only there at night to sleep, Oct 31. We chose the loft because of the location - while it is close to all the action, it is not in the middle of the city. It is at least 10 min away from most shopping and food. Even though there’s a noise ordinance from 11-7, it was not maintained at all. At around 1am we started hearing music being blasted most of the night. We did not sleep. No bars were open. Needless to say, we couldn't enjoy our day because of exhaustion and felt sick from the lack of sleep.Immediately on Friday morning, we brought this up to the host and she told us she would talk to the owner. She didn't get back to us until Monday. When I asked her to comp us a percentage because of the noise pollution, she stated this was not her fault and we should have called “at the time of the event”. Considering we called earlier and no one responded, I doubt she would have picked up at 2 am. She also stated we booked the loft "of our own volition" for Oct 31 so we should have expected noise. Yet she mentioned there are noise ordinances in place so we shouldn’t have had loud noises. She will state that we left a nice review on the guestbook. Let me clarify that this was signed before the noise incidents occurred Oct 30.
