Hotel a Ashford Carbonel

“Good rooms cosy bar good food convenient to all shops”

“From check in to check out the staff were so helpful. Can fault anything.”

“very comfortable - didn't use the amenities just had coffee in my room. Will stay again if I'm down in that area.”

“The lights in the bathroom were beautiful”

“Beautiful character property with cute rooms, really nice staff and delicious breakfast. Location is gorgeous!”

“The staff were very helpful & we had an excellent cooked breakfast.”

“Small double room, knightwick, has a toilet that leaked. The whole bathroom and bedroom stinks of mould because the floor must still be damp from the leaks. This room should not be used. The smell was so bad we had to leave the fan and light on all night. This was v noisy but preferable to the stink. Rooflights open all night. The door is a folding type so you can't even shut the smell out. Such a shame because the restaurant, pub and area are lovely and the food v good. Would pay not to stay in...

“Lovely one night stay at the Queens, we ate at the restaurant food was also very good it is in the main town so walkable to everywhere, perfect location and staff were very friendly and helpful”

“Lovely lodges, well maintained and nice hot tub Only disadvantage is not being able to keep the car at the lodge as my friend has poor mobility. We had been promised the lodge closest to the restaurant building, but we weren't put in there unfortunately”

“Fabulous location. Beautiful old house”

“The host was very helpful. She was very flexible in allowing us to pick up the keys early on the day of our check in. Despite there being a storm the weekend we stayed, the room was fantastic, lovely breakfast in the morning, and stunning views. If in the area, would definitely look to book again. Thanks.”

“Very comfortable and well-maintained room. Excellent easy to use shower”

“Allt var bra!”

“I love old fashioned, traditional pubs & inns, and this was perfect. Wooden beams, creaky floors, etc. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The meals were of high quality & decently priced, too, the breakfast exceptional! Plenty of parking available. I will definitely visit there again.”
