House was perfect for a family of 5. Loaded with everything we needed. Perfect access for Rainier! Owner was a fast communicator and willing to go pick up detergent right away for us. Would stay again and highly recommend

The keypad at the door was unfamiliar to us and it is not user friendly. Fortunately the property manager promptly came out to open the door for us and demonstrate how to operate it. The bed was comfortable. The refrigerator smelled like fish and had not been cleaned properly. Bath mats should have been washed- they were dirty. We noticed a drain leaking under the kitchen sink just as we were about to depart which we communicated to the host. The location is nice and close to Rainier. The place is ok; it’s better than some places we’ve stayed. Can’t give it 5 stars, though, unfortunately.

We vacated the property after one night of a planned two-night stay due to multiple safety, habitability, and maintenance concerns: - Reservation: We booked a two-night stay and departed after the first night. - Emergency communications: There was no cellular service at the property, which materially restricted our ability to summon emergency assistance. - Stair safety: The two upstairs bedrooms are accessed via very steep, tall stairs without handrails, creating a significant fall risk; practically, even the listing states three bedrooms upstairs, only downstairs one can be safely accessed. - Privacy: Large front and rear windows and the French door to the balcony lacked curtains or coverings; after dark the interior was visibly exposed from outside. It gave us creepy feelings, as if someone is watching us. - Sleeping and seating conditions: The downstairs king mattress was firm and resulted in poor sleep; the living-room sofa had minimal cushioning and caused back discomfort. Provided bedding was synthetic polyester and produced noticeable static. - Kitchen equipment: Several kitchen items were worn or defective, including pots with detachable handles that may detach during use (risk of scalding) and a warped, thin plastic cutting board. - Laundry and plumbing: The washer/dryer units were very old models, after use certain garments appeared to have shrunk. The downstairs bathroom sink drained very slowly. The property was not reasonably habitable.
