Foresta isolata Log House 15 minuti a Ashland

La bella casa di ceppo rustica costruita a mano si è accoccolato nella foresta della montagna della cascata dell'Oregon del sud. A circa 15 minuti dal centro di Ashland, a 20 minuti dal Monte. Ashland Ski Resort, e cinque minuti a piedi da Pacific Crest Trail. Questa casa è la perfetta vacanza tranquilla e serena: abbastanza vicina ad Ashland per essere comoda, ma completamente isolata e privata. Le caratteristiche includono parcheggio privato coperto, cucina completamente attrezzata, terrazza privata con vista sulla foresta, sauna stagionale e sentieri.

Lo spazio
La casa si trova sul vertice Siskiyou, a sud di Ashland. I quaranta acri di foresta (non ostruiti) sono il sito della storica strada del vecchio carro (e delle prime automobili), ora il nostro vialetto, che attraversa la vetta dall'Oregon alla California. Questa è la nostra casa di famiglia dal 1982 e da allora ci prendiamo cura di questa terra pacifica. Facciamo parte del passaggio degli uccelli e la nostra foresta ospita migliaia di uccelli. Gli animali sono principalmente cervi e volpi. Sulla proprietà ci sono tre case (la casa di tronchi, la casa principale e la casa dello stagno), tutte abbastanza distanti l'una dall'altra per essere private e appartate.
Vivo permanentemente nella proprietà con il mio cane, Kellen, nella casa dello stagno. Mi piace incontrare persone e sarò disponibile se hai bisogno di qualcosa durante il tuo soggiorno, ma a parte questo, avrai una completa privacy. La casa principale verrà anche affittata a volte, ma ha un parcheggio e un ingresso separati e non influenzerà alcun aspetto del tuo soggiorno nella casa di tronchi. La casa ha un ingresso per la tastiera in modo da poter effettuare il check-in anche se non sono a casa quando arrivi. Il riscaldamento centralizzato è regolabile per il vostro comfort. A molti ospiti piace godersi il fuoco nelle stufe a legna la mattina e la sera. Tutti i dettagli per arrivare a casa, entrare in casa, usare il wifi, le regole della casa e tutto il resto saranno a tua disposizione al momento della prenotazione in una sezione dettagliata dell'itinerario.
Sulla proprietà ci sono tre case (la casa di tronchi, la casa principale e la casa dello stagno), tutte abbastanza distanti l'una dall'altra per essere private e appartate.

This cabin was so peaceful. Sitting by the fire, watching the snow, soaking in the ofuro, was the perfect getaway. The host, Micheline, was absolutely delightful and left us personal touches in the cabin. We definitely recommend a stay here on Mt. Ashland!

Cozy and comfortable log cabin. We had fresh snow as deep as our 5 year old is tall. Sledded out the front door, warmed up in the sauna. Home and property are clean and well cared for. Mich has everything you could need and was a very thoughtful host.

I can’t say enough about Mich and her lovely property. The cabin is super cozy and clean. We loved sipping coffee in the atrium in the morning and the wood-fired sauna felt amazing after our jaunts through the snow. The bed is upstairs in the loft. There were plenty of choices for streaming movies and lots of board games to choose from. We can’t wait to come back! If a cabin in the woods with a wood stove, sauna and atrium are your thing, then this is the place to stay.

Tremendously happy to have discovered this jewel of a getaway! A peaceful paradise with a wonderful cabin to comfort us during our stay. There really is nothing better than the sound of pouring rain dancing on the roof top while listening to the snap-crackle-and-pop of the woodstove warming us up while we sip on hot chocolate with marshmellows..ahhh, relaxation at its best. And what a great host we had! Mich greeted us upon our arrival and instantly made us feel truly welcomed. She gave us a quick tour, told us the history of the property, and was always available for any questions we had. Couldn't have asked for more.

We were welcomed into the log cabin that the owner built 30 years ago. It's a blend of beautiful carpentry with European and Japanese touches that wrap you in warmth and coziness. The cabin easily accommodated our group of 5 adults with the split bathroom design. It's very clean, with comfortable beds and bedding, different colored towels to easily keep track of your own, porch furnishings that extend the living area to the beautiful outdoors surrounding the cabin. Remote feeling yet a quick drive to Ashland. Great areas with amazing views to walk to on the property and an easy access to the PCT. This is a true gem.

This home in the woods on the summit of Mount Siskiyou was a beautiful and relaxing place to stay after busy days exploring the area. The deck overlooks woods, the kitchen is well furnished, and the house is decorated with fascinating artwork and wall hangings, some of it hand made by the owners' family. It is a quick drive into Ashland. The host is on site (their house is not visible from the Log House) and very pleasant and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again if we need a place near Ashland!

The Mt. Ashland log house exceeded our expectations in every way. It was exactly as advertised, but better in person. The location was peaceful and secluded, but still a short drive into town. It was immaculately clean and you could tell the owners put a lot of thought into the guest experience. From the welcome information, to the toiletries, to the local coffee, the log house had everything we needed to have a relaxing vacation. My favorite parts of the house were the back porch, solarium, and the cozy loft bedroom. It was also neat to be a short walk to the Pacific Crest Trail. We look forward to staying in the log house again next time we are by Ashland. Thank you Mich and Nico for sharing your lovely home with us!

This is my favorite VRBO ever. The cabin feels instantly like home and we didn't want to leave. It was spotlessly clean, the surrounding forest is gorgeous and the cabin is a work of art. You will love every second and your host gives takes special care with so many thoughtful touches. We will definitely be back!

Mich is a thoughtful host and the log cabin is a truly special place! Everything in it is beautiful, from the art on the walls to the handmade ceramic dishware, not to mention the woodwork of the cabin itself. We enjoyed hiking stretches of the PCT nearby and just relaxing with our pup on the lovely wooded property. Will definitely be back!

We loved staying here for a few days, relishing in the solarium, sitting on the porch enjoying the trees and birds and wildflowers. It was a perfect balance of secluded mountain escape and proximity to great food and theatre in Ashland. Mich is both attentive to needs that come up and respectful of boundaries despite their house being so close by. Would certainly come back!

This was one of the very best places we ever rented. Everything was so well appointed. There were five different ways to make coffee and supplies including coffee, an espresso machine and coffee grinder. The attention to detail was fantastic and all of the furnishings and decorations were of very high quality and frankly expensive. Like living in a real home. We often slept in the sunroom which was like sleeping out in the forest without being cold or uncomfortable, lol. The feeling was like living in the wilderness and yet only 15 minutes or so to Ashland. The owner was kind and attentive to a couple of our requests. Beautiful sunsets close to the home and a short walk to the Pacific Crest Trail. Everything was quiet and peaceful. We did not get a chance to use the sauna but next time. We did burn a small wood fire one evening which was very cozy. We are actually recommending this to our good friends who live in the area for a mountain getaway. This was obviously a well-loved and cared for property. We would definitely stay again.

Originally we were planning on eloping at Lithia Park, but once we saw the beautiful mountains and scenery at the property we changed our minds, and had our ceremony at the viewpoint. We took a journey down to Ashland just to get a little one on one time before the baby comes and we were spoiled with the secluded Forest log house. It was built in the 80's, you walk in and feel magic pouring out of the most beautiful wood floors and counters. The decor takes you on a journey around the world, and the smell of the wood burning fire place just seals the deal. We took the pup on a lil' hike down to the pond, my man got a sauna steam under the full moon and I got a quiet bath with pure serenity. Can't thank the hosts Michelle and Mitch enough, they were very kind and so thoughtful. Even ran us down extra firewood in the dark! Highly recommend. We just wish we could have stayed longer. ;)
