“Étape d'une nuit dans ce charmant gîte. L'accueil était très soigné et j'ai particulièrement apprécié les instructions reçues avant l'arrivée concernant les options existantes pour se restauré. Pas de télévision mais cela m'a permis d'apprécier le calme du gîte et le repos apporté par la nuit passée. Pour conclure, je recommande ce gîte si vous êtes à la recherche d'un accueil simple, authentique et si vous rechercher le calme.”

“Accueil très chaleureux par un ménage très sympathique. Nous avons été surpris de constater que le plancher de notre chambre était en pente: bâtiment très ancien; l'isolation phonique avec la chambre mitoyenne laisse à désirer, mais n'est pas génant si les 2 pièces sont occupées par la même famille (c'était notre cas). Anne et Didier font de leur mieux pour réussir ce projet, sont pleins de courage, et méritent notre encouragement. ”

“Please stay at this wonderful chambre d’hote. Roxi is the perfect host and you can really tell that she has put her heart and soul into this lovely house. The bedroom we had was amazing and had everything you need including a huge jacuzzi!!! Perfect place to enjoy the town of Verteuil sur Charente. Fresh eggs included in great breakfast. We will be back!!!”

“Friendly welcome from the owner and shown to a nice family room. Comfy beds and bathroom with really good shower. Lovely breakfast served outside in sun. Kids enjoyed the pool, very clean. All would have been perfect but for the unexpected heatwave which reached about 40 degrees and as there is no air con we initially suffered trying to sleep. Saying this l would definitely go back again, it is so very quirky!”

“La maison est celle que nous recherchions, une maison typique en pierre avec ses poutres en bois à l’intérieur et les lézards à l’extérieur. Nous avons eu beaucoup de chaleur donc la piscine mise à disposition nous a bien servis. La propriétaire, bien que mon anglais ne soit pas bon du tout, a été très accueillante, avec des petits cadeaux à notre arrivée, et très souple au niveau des horaires.
