Casa vacanze per chi ama sostare nella storia e nelle storie

All'ultimo piano di un'antica dimora di famiglia, nel centro storico di Assisi, a pochi passi dalla Basilica di San Francesco, Assisi Al4 è un angolo silenzioso e rigenerante che in estate profuma di erbe officinali, di cui non ho resistito a innamorarmi.

Il design dell'interno è opera di Paolo, mio marito.
Mentre mia madre, mia figlia ed io ci siamo dedicate all'arredamento.
Abbiamo scelto di recuperare la maggior parte degli arredi dal passato della mia . La vecchia madia, il divano anni 70, il guardaroba, le foto in bianco e nero, le luci sui comodini e alle pareti, lo specchio del bagno.
Sicuramente perché mi piacevano ma anche perché ognuno di loro custodisce una storia. Da raccontare.


LA CASA
L'appartamento è composto da due letti matrimoniali e un futon, ideale per ospitare 5 persone.
Nel rispetto della struttura originaria la casa vacanze non si presta ad essere accessibile ai portatori di disabilità.

Il soggiorno ampio e luminoso è il cuore della casa con una comoda zona lettura e una spaziosa libreria per gli albi illustrati, le graphic novels, i libri d'arte.

La cucina è corredata, oltre a lavastoviglie, forno e frigo, di tutto il necessario per la preparazione di una ricca e gustosa prima colazione (bollitore, tostapane, macchina per waffel e moka).
Al vostro arrivo troverete pane, latte, caffè, succo di frutta, burro, marmellata, zucchero, pasta, passata di pomodoro, olio e sale; quanto basta per sentirvi subito a casa.

Abbiamo dedicato particolare cura al sonno dei nostri ospiti affidandoci alla professionalità degli esperti e all'alta qualità dei prodotti Cerguty.
La camera da letto accoglie un letto king size ed un guardaroba spazioso e ben organizzato, mentre il soppalco ospita l’altro letto matrimoniale queen size. Sempre nel soppalco, dove il tetto si fa più basso, si trova il quinto posto letto costituito da materasso futon appoggiato su tatami.

Il bagno è corredato di doccia, bidet, water e di uno spazioso lavandino con specchio.
Per la biancheria abbiamo preferito la doppia spugna ideale per un’asciugatura morbida e avvolgente.
A disposizione degli ospiti sapone per le mani e shampoo doccia.
Nascosta da una quinta in muratura c’è la lava-asciuga.

La terrazza, sorprendente per dimensioni e posizione, è ideale per la meditazione, lo yoga, il pilates o più semplicemente per conversare sotto le stelle con i propri compagni di viaggio accompagnando le parole con un calice di vino con i sapori della nostra terra.


COMFORT
A disposizione dei nostri ospiti lava-asciuga, ferro da stiro, lavastoviglie, forno, fuochi ad induzione, frigo, asciugacapelli.
Cucina attrezzata con stoviglie e batteria di pentole per preparare i vostri pasti in completa autonomia.
A disposizione dei nostri ospiti la biancheria per il bagno e per le camere.

Abbiamo preferito alla tv la connessione veloce che consente di scaricare e vedere agevolmente film, serie o programmi sui tablet.

Il riscaldamento a pavimento rende gli ambienti piacevolmente caldi e confortevoli.
Per il massimo comfort, l’appartamento è dotato di climatizzatore autonomo regolabile.

Chi ama sperimentare sapori locali può affidarsi alla cucina di uno chef a domicilio sia naturale, trazionale o vegan.

Su richiesta la giornata può concludersi con un momento dedicato alle letture ad alta voce. Per bambini di ogni età.
La nostra selezione di albi illustrati, graphic novels e libri d'arte è a disposizione degli ospiti da leggere e sfogliare comodamente seduti nel luminoso e comodo angolo lettura.

Se desiderate il servizio pulizia e lavanderia durante il vostro soggiorno, potete farne richiesta al momento della prenotazione o secondo necessità.

A pochi passi dall’appartamento c'è la fermata dell'autobus di linea che collega la struttura a Santa Maria degli Angeli e alla stazione ferroviaria.

Assisi Al Quattro, a retreat for those who love to immerse themselves in history and stories.

Situated on the top floor of an ancient family home in the historic centre of Assisi, a short distance from the magnificent Basilica of San Francesco, “Assisi Al Quattro” is a haven of silence and regeneration, filled with the fragrance of medicinal herbs in summertime: I couldn’t help but fall in love.

The interior design is the work of my husband, Paolo, while my mother, my daughter and I are responsible for the furnishings. We have chosen to reclaim most of the furniture from my past: the old sideboard, the 1970's sofa, the wardrobe, the black and white photos, the lights on the bedside tables and the walls, the bathroom mirror… Of course, they were chosen because I liked them, but they were also selected because each of them holds a story. Waiting to be told.


THE APARTMENT
The apartment has two double beds and a futon and is ideal for up to 5 people.
Please note that due to the nature of the original structure, the holiday home is not suitable for people with disabilities.

The bright, spacious living room is the heart of the property. A light, comfortable reading area with a large bookcase for picture books, graphic novels and art books was essential.

The kitchen area, which includes dishwasher, oven and fridge, is equipped with everything necessary to prepare a delicious breakfast. On arrival you will find a few essentials - milk, coffee, fruit juice, butter, jam, sugar, pasta, tomato sauce, oil and salt; just enough to make you feel at home straightaway.

We have taken special care over the sleeping arrangements of our guests, relying on professional expertise and high quality Cerguty products. In the main bedroom there's the king-size bed and a spacious well organised wardrobe, while a queen-size bed and is in the mezzanine, where, under the eaves, you can also find a hidden den with tatami mat, futon.

Well-heated with wall-mounted radiators, the bathroom is equipped with a shower, bidet, toilet and a spacious sink with mirror. Wrap yourself in our bath linens which have been chosen for their softness and comfort. Hand soap, shower gel and shampoo are provided for our guests.
Hidden in a corner is a washer-drier.

The terrace: the highlight of the property. Surprising in both size and position. Ideal for meditation, yoga, pilates or simply to trade stories under the stars with your fellow travellers, perhaps with a glass of wine and some delicious local treats to accompany the words.

At our guests' disposal: washer-drier, iron, dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, fridge, hairdryer.
Fully equipped kitchen, with crockery, pots, pans and cooking utensils.
Bed linen and towels are provided for our guests.

We have installed a high speed connection that allows you to easily download and watch movies, series or programs on your mobile devices.

The underfloor heating makes the rooms pleasantly warm and comfortable.
For maximum comfort, the apartment is equipped with individually adjustable air conditioning.

A private parking space is available for our guests in the gated courtyard of the property.

For those who love to sample the local cuisine, we can provide a chef to cook for you at home, for any type of diet - natural, traditional or vegan.

On request, we can end the day with a special story time. For children of all ages!
Our selection of picture books, graphic novels and art books is available for guests to read and browse in the bright, comfortable reading corner.

A cleaning and laundry service is available on request, either when booking or as needed during your stay.

Not far from the apartment there is a bus stop connecting the property to Santa Maria degli Angeli and the train station.
