“OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. “Overpriced place, with old facilities”

“Well located close to the M20 and nearby Bearsted village, which is really picturesque. Wifi was really slow for me which was a bit of a pain. Room was lovely - ground floor with a small terrace onto the golf course. Leisure facilities are good. Cafe is a nice place to work.”

“Stanze grandi e ben attrezzate. Uniche pecche: mancava lo spazzolino per il water e la temperatura dell'acqua calda non si poteva alzare più di tanto. Ovviamente si tratta di un hotel autostradale, quindi non si può pretendere che la location sia particolarmente amena, però in generale la stanza era davvero molto meglio della media riscontrata in tutta la vacanza.”

“Posto strategico, ampio parcheggio, visto che eravamo in moto ci hanno fatto parcheggiare in un posto non visibile vicino al hotel, per la sicurezza del mezzo. Un plus alla cortesia del personale della reception. Stanze pulite e confortevoli. C'è la possibilità di una piscina coperta.”

“Third time staying here due to the positive previous experiences. The positive streak continued with a great room featuring a fantastic air-conditioning unit which kept me cool in the June heat. A wonderful workout ensued in their very well-equipped gym set up. This was followed by a powerful shower and I went to dine nearby. Had a great night's sleep before a well-cooked breakfast got my day started perfectly. Can't wait to come back.”

“Pros: recently decorated room, comfortable firm bed, clean white cotton bedding, reasonably quiet, great view of river, free and plentiful continental breakfast with cereals, muffin/croissant, toast with jam & cheese, yoghurts, pleasant and helpful staff. Cons: room needed more detailed cleaning, shower head was stuck in holder and hard to adjust, skimpy tea & coffee in room & no decaf coffee, TV subject to atmospheric interference and channel hopping a challenge (maybe new batteries in hand set...

“We were on the 2rd floor and the steps were very narrow for walk up and down on. Found it a bit risky. But overall cheap and cheerful ”
