“Hotel owners, both husband and wife and their staff were really helpful and friendly. Property is really well maintained with diverse flowering plants and villa room we stayed in is very spacious and clean. Even though it is still the wet season, temperature was really pleasant and A/C wasn’t needed to sleep well. Very peaceful environment and walking distance to town square. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to getaway and relax.”

“My four-night stay at Hotel Don Ernesto La Chimba was wonderful, highlighted by the friendly staff and the absolutely excellent breakfast spread. The location is incredibly peaceful, tucked away in the jungle yet conveniently just 30 minutes from the airport. While some reviewers highlight that the rooms aren't Ritz-Carlton quality, I think it is important to note that the prices certainly reflect that, and the hotel offers tremendous value for an authentic and relaxing stay.”
